I was fairly impressed with this pharmacy due to good location , and have not any reason to complain about until today .I attempted to fill a Vicodin RX after seeing a physician today along with two others prescriptions . I gave the pharmacy several hours to fill them and was informed by tech that they had 2 prescriptions ready for me. I asked which of the 3 was not ready and informed I had " no further refills on my Vicodin prescriptions " I told her " this should be a new prescription as I just saw my physcian today" . Nope was informed they had called my MD and are awaiting a call back. This was at 4:30 pm. Md's office was closing in 1/2 hour, I called and left message for nurse to call me back with information why I cannot get Vicodin Rx just written today. Nurse called me back informing me that Harris Teeter did not have any Vicodin to supply me ? They had called MD to inform them but I guess they did not feel the need to inform the patient who was in pain of this issue . It was easily fixed by giving MD another pharmacy to call this medication in.My issue is this , why was I lead to believe that noone understood why I could not get my prescriptions. The tech could have easily informed me that none was available at their store and it would have been accepted. Was out on the web today and found out ,as in many other instances in past , pharmacies are having difficulties w a shortage.Could have eliminated this bad review of a pharmacy I had faith in, by sharing a bit of truth.

Pharmacist Brittany is a disgusting human being. She picks and chooses which medications I can get, even though my doctor prescribed them to me. For example, I have a medication for pain that is non-narcotic. She keeps rejecting the medication because she says I can only take it, and I quote, "Once per year". I asked her for studies to back up her claim and she says that she's saying it based on her "clinical judgment". Mind you, this woman is not well in the head. I don't know if she's just been having a lot of bad days in a row or if she really doesn't like her job, but she's always been absolutely rude to me.She lied saying she would talk to my doctor. She lied saying that I can only take this certain medication "once per year". And she's absolutely rude to me and very short when I asked questions trying to understand her reasoning.Anyways, I transferred this medication to CVS and didn't have any issues. Shame on you HT for hiring such a goblin.

Since my last visit they stopped accepting my insurance which is fine but would have been nice to tell me. I sent my sons prescription over picked it up and just assumed all was good. Got home and saw he was missing part of it so I called to ask. Thats when I'm told we don't take your insurance anymore and you can get the inhaler it will be $450 or call another pharmacy who takes it. It's now gone 4 days because the weekend and them not sending the script over right away.

Terrible service. I’ve had several interactions with staff that were flat out condescending and rude about medication questions & insurance. In what can be a stressful situation for some patients, particular staff have provided no support or empathy to their community- something that is an integral part of a health profession, even if just being a local grocery store pharmacy. Will not be using them for my prescriptions any longer.

Still after two years, waiting on list for shingles vaccine! Fortunately, Walgreens took care of us last year without a wait problem. Still waiting to hear from our former pharmacy, Harris Teeter. What’s up with that?

This is one of our favorite Teeters! The staff is very friendly and always helpful. They have a good selection of wine and cheeses (see pics). The only negative is this is a smaller location. You will definitely notice this in the produce section. It is conveniently located off of highway 64. So even if you don't live in the area, you are able to get in and out quickly. Worth noting, there is a Starbucks located inside. Happy Teetering!!

This was one of the kindest and funniest shopping adventures ever! I'm new to the area but no one looked down on me, in fact, everyone was super sweet and helpful!

So happy to have this grocery store open. We missed our Kroger but Harris-Teeter has become a great new neighbor. The store is clean and neatly organized. So far, they have had every item that I have come in looking for. They frequently have specials that apply for this store only. So visit frequently and check to see if there is a flyer at the checkout.

Heather is awesome. Extremely patient. Takes care of you & listens like you are the only customer even if there are other customers there-if you are waiting for your script she will give you an update by saying "Mrs. Sullivan just another minute or almost ready"....... 1 of my scripts I must show my ID & shes always polite when she requests it & promptly gives it back. Always asks if you have any questions. She's the best!

Trust, knowledge, empathy and enthusiastic service Harris Teeter Pharmacy, Rte 64 in Apex NC! I have been a patron of the pharmacy at the Harris Teeter Pharmacy in Apex NC (Route 64 at Lake Pine Plaza) for many years. My relationship with several of the pharmacists there span up to 20 years. I was dismayed when the Kroger closed most of all because I feared I would lose a very friendly, kind and compassionate staff who are just about the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff I have ever met. Heather, Steve, Lea and the entire staff are so wonderful it was tremendous to learn that many of the staff was kept on to serve us at the new Harris Teeter store. In fact HT kept the pharmacy open even though Kroger had closed and the rest of the store was empty for nearly a year! This is testament to a wonderful, friendly and caring staff who have called me with concerns over medicines I have been prescribed, knowing my allergies and the possible interactions of other medicines I am taking. They have carefully provided warnings of certain medicines and take time to make sure I am comfortable with proper usage. If you are new to the area, or just have seen the pharmacy but go to CVS or Walgreen because they are "drug stores" please believe me when I say the entire staff at Harris Teeter Pharmacy can be a one stop shop for prescriptions AND shop while you wait! And there are special perks such as competitive pricing and discounts at their gas station! Come see for yourself, you will learn what I have-this pharmacy does not merely serve, they become your friendly pharmaceutical family ... hard working, quick, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. As you seek wellness and assistance for you and those you love, you will find a terrific hometown place to pick up your prescriptions-they even have a drive through window! Fantastic Staff/BEST IN TOWN!

This is a temporary HT Pharmacy while old Kroger is renovated and converted to a Harris Teeter. At 5.17.19, one HT employee and one construction manager told me the new full HT store would open 'early July.' They'll have the HT, HT gas + the pharmacy.
