I cannot say enough good things about this salon!! My husband and I have been going to JA since they opened over a decade ago. I’ve tried so many salons prior and never found the “one” until I met the owner, Connie at JA and immediately became a client after my first appointment. Recently our teenage children have also become clients. Connie and Maria clearly know magic because I always walk out with two really happy, smiling teens. And that is QUITE an accomplishment!!! The staff is always very accommodating and I love that I can sit in the processing room with my laptop and work at the same time. JA is the best around hands down :)

We’ve been going to this salon for years. My son was 16 minutes late (stuck in traffic coming from school). The salon charged us full price and told him to reschedule. Typically, it takes the stylist 20 min max to cut his hair, so she would have stayed an extra 5 minutes. I would have understood if they rescheduled him, but to charge him full price as a no show is wrong. Customer service is not important to this salon.

Love this place! I have fine hair and Connie has helped me keep my color beautiful while maintaining healthy hair! I highly recommend for gorgeous color and natural looking highlights. 10/10

I cannot imagine trusting anyone else with something as personal as caring for my hair! Connie, the owner, has been my stylist for nearly 20 years and I appreciate her kindness and expertise. She was sweet enough to style my hair for my recent wedding and I felt so beautiful! Count me as a lifelong client!

I wanted platinum blonde hair and the first the stylist said she would do a head full of highlights that would give me the look I wanted. She rinsed me with an ash blonde toner and somehow after 2 hours and $250.00 I ended up with the exact same hair the color didn’t even lighten my roots. When I told her I didn’t like it she she said its a lot lighter than what I think it is. I called and discussed the issue with the manager she told me she told me she would talk with the stylist and call me back. That was 5 days ago. Anyway, I canceled the next appointment I had scheduled where they were going to correct what I didn’t like with another 2 hour and $250.00 session. Aveda has really lowered their standards over the years.

I’ve been going to Jay Andrew’s for almost 10 years. I’ve been happy with the service until now. I missed an appointment last week and according to their cancellation policy, I’m required to pay for that appointment. I requested a one time grace allowance and was denied because I missed an appointment in 2020, 3 years ago. I’ve decided to look elsewhere for a stylist. Customer service is important to me and a salon that is inflexible with a long time client is not where I want to spend my money.

I love that the location is now in Apex and closer to home. All the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing after a long day at work. Maria has been doing my hair for almost a year now and I couldn't be more satisfied. Highlights and cuts have been on point every time.

I have long hair and requested a simple straight trim, which took only 5 minutes and was changed the full price, insane!!! And worst of all, my hair was cut in all different lengths, which absolutely destroyed my beautiful long hair, meaning another 2 inches would have to be cut to get my hair even. I called and spoke with a rude person that was absolutely not interested. What happened to customers matter? Apparently Not!!! Not interested in your feedback or your excuses!!!

I love this place! Recently had my fourth visit. After relocating from NY it took a few sad trials and errors at far more expensive salons before I found this place.The atmosphere is relaxing and chic. The owner is constantly redesigning improvement. Victoria,, my stylist, is highly experienced and a true pro!!! She has brought.y hair back to "stylin'" from the previous hacks I encountered.Services: Haircut

Maria did an amazing job on my hair! She was so sweet and was really easy to talk to! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get their hair done. I've gotten mine done a couple of times, but she still explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it that way. Definitely made me feel comfortable.The environment of the salon was also very peaceful. There was an adorable puppy walking around and you could tell the staff genuinely enjoyed their job and interacting with their clients. Not a ton of people in the space as well so you definitely feel like a priority.Services: Balayage

Ah! They simply are the best. I’d not go to any place else after visiting them. After all the horrible salon experiences here at Raleigh, I was hesitant to try them at first. Glad I trusted the aveda name and paid a visit. They were gentle and they do take your inches seriously. My mane has never been this happy! Thanks @jayandrews

Went into Apex location. Shocked none of staff were masked. When asked was told (1) could not be enforced (2) staff wore masks as long as they could. (What does that even mean)Walked out without buying product. Employees don’t care about public health and safety!
