Absolutely amazing cake and super sweet lady! I can’t begin to describe how amazing this cake was visually, like it almost didn’t look real but EVERYTHING was edible and our guests were impressed but most importantly, it helped make a great memory. I ordered a stitch theme birthday cake for my daughter and my expectations were far exceeded. The cake was a replica of the inspo picture I sent and tasted absolutely delicious. Oftentimes cakes look beautiful but taste awful- however this was not the case. I ordered a marble cake with dulce de leche and it was very moist, perfectly sweetened, and not too heavy. I will order all my future cakes here and I highly recommend her- you will not be disappointed.

My first experience with Katty of KD Designs was amazing. I ordered a birthday cake with a throwback 'Lisa Frank' theme. It exceeded expectations! Katty is a creative genius and turns out a beautifully detailed end product. The cake represented the original bright pink and fluorescent colors of the time. The cake itself was a light vanilla with raspberry puree & ganache that was covered in fondant. It was not too sweet; just right. See some of her cake pictures on her website, They are so real looking that you almost can't believe they're edible. Her pickup location is in Apex and easy to reach via Hwy 55 or Hwy 64. I highly recommend Katty for your next cake project.

I recently ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s cradle ceremony and I was thoroughly impressed with how amazingly it was made. It looked exquisite and tasted incredibly delicious! KD Designs went above our expectations! We absolutely loved how the cake looked and it was delicious!
