It’s 92 degrees outside… it should not be like this in the gym. Numerous times since last year! Have we told maintenance the A/C does not work & still nothing is done about it this is ridiculous. Someone who can’t handle the heat will pass out.

Not sure why the only people who post are disgruntled ones. Lol. I've lived here for over 2 years and still enjoy it. My apartment backs onto a beautiful pond that has well maintained walking path around it. People enjoy walking it everyday! Sometimes the kids will ride their little bikes or scooters around it...I love to hear them giggle! There are lots of dog p*** stations and I haven't found the habits of other residents with their dogs to be too unresponsible, definitely no more than anywhere else. I see reviews showing pictures of trash piled up. Has the trash compactor ever broken, sure, maybe twice since I've lived here. But it was fixed pretty quickly and, honestly, the trash compactor isn't near ANY apartment units! Why can people only point to the bad things? The pool...we LOVE the pool!! I saw someone complaining about the lack of water quality tests... ...if they're that worried, they shouldn't be in ANY public pool because that little kid in the shark trunks is DEFINITELY going to pee in it! LOL. One of the things that I enjoy about the pool is that there are enough older adults in the community that we are not overrun by unruly and unsupervised children. God love the old ladies who keep them in line and the parents that have been responsible! I've met many really nice people at the pool! Management does a community BBQ every summer, providing all the food, and that has been really nice. They also throw in beach balls, some floats and some noodles too...very nice. The poolside furniture has been well maintained. As far as no cash deposit slot...sorry, but no one wants cash today...come into this century. They have an online resident portal that is very easy to use and navigate. As far as responsiveness...I think people want them to be magicians! Things happen! I mean if you want to live in a brand new complex then, obviously, this isn't it...go down the road and pay over a thousand dollars more for the same thing! I've had two incidents over the two years and managements response time was extremely reasonable and kind. Let me just say that when you rent, you should have a good renters policy to cover your belongings. Will I renew again, most likely. I'd like to be in a house, but, honestly, with the RTP housing market the way it is right now, this complex is a good value.

Temecia has been amazing to me since my move in. She truly cares and is super on top of things. On the other hand... roaches and water bugs are a huge issue along with mold and flooding without being properly treated and cleaned. The air filters are also disgusting. My children and I have re-occurring colds and sickness I believe is due to the underlying mold issue. Apparently before I moved into my apartment it was flooded a decent amount of times. The sealant around the bathtubs are very poor (discoloration, moldy, quick cover ups, roaches come through). This complex is great community wise. It’s quiet, gated, safe... everyone is very friendly ! The maintenance is my hugeeee complaint. The leasing office is beautiful. I wish the same amount of effort was put into the upkeep and maintenance of the apartments.

My move in experience with Lake Cameron has been one of the most comfortable, enjoyable, and stress free experiences! Temecia is an absolute gem that has a smile that lights up a room. I feel like she genuinely shared the excitement of my new home. My apartment is stunnng, as is the entire complex. Amber I didn’t work with as much, but she was just as wonderful. Your team and community is amazing and I am so happy to be part of the Lake Cameron family!! -Joanne J

I stayed in Lake Cameron for around 2 years. The good thing is the location of the apartment is great and convenient to access retail stores. I really love this location (Location Only).I felt this place is not secure for many reasons.First reason is someone stole my 2 bikes last year even though it's a gated community. Management said that there is no cam and they are not responsible for this theft. My neighbor also faced similar challenges and decided to move out.Roaches have been a big issue. Pest control is not able to solve the problem even for more than 2 years. They never understood the problem and do spray occasionally. I cannot explain how much struggle we have gone through. There are other reasons, which I don't want to call out in the review. Management knows that why they have put notice around my community for people not use ---------When my lease was renewed, they sent wrong information about the release extension, after a long argument and showing the required proof, they agreed that they made a mistake.I have filed a maintenance request to replace the toilet glass as it has a crack. They did not change because it's not broken :-). We used the cracked toilet for two years. Finally, they charged $1000+ when I moved out for unacceptable reasons. I had a couple of conversations with the management, but they never came back as usual and I ended up paying the quoted amount as I have crossed the due date and to avoid sending my payment to the collection office.

If I could give this rating a zero, I would. The manager of this apartment complex does not care about the residents at all. Every encounter my dad and I have had with this lady is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. My dad and I have been living here for 10 years and we never had a problem until she became the manager. As residents of this apartment, she will not grant us a key to get through the gate of our apartment. They make us use the guest entrance and we have no access to the amenities without this key. We are promised a free carpet cleaning every year and every time we ask for it, it’s a different excuse why they won’t do it for us. The last time she said “we have to sign next years lease in order to get it.” She is very despicable to my dad who is a 62 year old hispanic man that has done nothing but been respectful. My dad isn’t very tech savvy and he has always signed his lease as a paper copy but this manager refuses to give him a paper copy until “after he signs the lease”. They will not let me ask them for anything because “I am not the lease holder” but my dad works until 6pm everyday and their office closes at 5:30 and they have never once answered the phone. This lady will laugh in your face before she shows any type of effort to help you. They make it very hard for my dad to continue living here. I will be contacting their corporate office in Atlanta if these problems do not get resolved soon

I recently moved from Lake Cameron, (Fogleman Properties) and I say STAY AWAY if you value your money...and sanity!! They will devise a variety of ways to extract money from you, ESPECIALLY when you vacate. THEY ESPECIALLY PREY ON SINGLE OLDER WOMEN!!!!!Fogleman Property Management staff at Lake Cameron are crooks and I highly urge you to NOT rent here as you'll be very sorry you did. I will go a step further and say STAY AWAY from any property they manage. I'm extremely disappointed, and even appalled, at the service and treatment I've received from Fogleman Property Management at Lake Cameron. When I recently moved out, they stated in an email, "We didn't charge you for the curry smell in your apartment." What?? I replied, "I don't even like curry, so I would NEVER cook with it." Their reply was nothing more than a repeat, "We didn't charge you for the curry smell..."Since when did apartment complexes start charging for lingering odors? Note: My apartment had been vacant for a month and when I stepped in to take one final look before turning in my keys, there was NO SMELL WHATSOEVER.They also charged me $53.63 for a SMALL scratch on the Corian countertop, nothing that would impact future tenants or affect the look of the kitchen. Leasing companies do NOT have the right to charge for "normal wear and tear." I had even patched the picture nail holes to make it easier for the painters. The place was move-in ready! The office staff will verbally bully and strong arm you, and prevent you by any means necessary, from talking to the property manager. I've personally experienced all of this, so believe me when I say it's real. There is NO sane reasoning with these people! They will be super nice to you until the millisecond after you sign the one-sided all-their-rights and none-of-yours document they call a lease. The smell of pot DAILY wafts strong through certain areas of the complex (particularly building 7) and the trash compacter area often looks like a third world country on weekends and holidays with trash piling up high outside the bin - ONE BIN for an entire large complex.Cobwebs overtake the stairwells and the workmanship inside the apartments is extremely shoddy and low quality. One of my cupboards fell off the hinges and almost hit me in the face.Renter beware! You will have NO RIGHTS and will be given NO MERCY at Lake Cameron. Go somewhere else - you'll be GLAD you did!

I enjoyed the view from my apartment and the neighbors. I moved out after a year's lease because management and maintenance didn't do a good job keeping up the property and providing customer service. Those are not luxury apartments to justify the high rent.

I'm not happy with management. I've been living here for almost 2 years. Our apartment flooded last winter, no offer to put us in a hotel or at least a dry apartment to stay in for a few days. Always an issue with the rental insurance and maintenance requests. No one in the office will give you a straight answer about anything.

Lake Cameron has been a beautiful place to live. The staff is super friendly and the maintenance guys are very attentive. We've had a couple issues that needed assistance from maintenance and they have been very quick to respond and resolve the problem. The community is clean, quiet and the residents are friendly!
