I get all my prescriptions from Publix Pharmacy in Apex, NC, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better experience. The service is top-notch—fast, friendly, and super reliable. Every time, consistently, they’ve impressed me with how quickly they respond to my refill requests and how fast they get everything ready.
What really stands out is how much the staff truly cares about your health and well-being. You’re not just another customer here—they treat you like a priority. I’m seriously impressed. Five stars all the way.

If I could give a zero I would. Avoid going to the sub sandwich station. After waiting for 30 minutes at the sub counter with only 1 person in front of me while watching the employee move as slow as possible and who’s hair was all over the place not great for meal preparation Then another employee finally stepped in to help. They gave me an awful sandwich drenched in way too much oil leaving puddles of the oil everywhere making it very unappetizing to eat. I threw the sandwich out. I frequently use Publix but will never go back to this location . I should have just gone to Jersey Mikes!!
After telling the check out checkout clerk who apologized. I left and felt compelled to call customer service they only said yes they hear there are issues in that department. And offered for me to speak to the deli manager. The manager seemed to care and said they would address it. But I won’t be returning this store just does not live up to Publix standards.
After reading other horrible reviews mostly about the deli that date back a year. There is no reason to expect anything to change.

Dropped in tonight to grab ice cream. And one of the employees were walking behind us with the umbrella, and I was under the impression that they were going out to get going home for the night. However the young man greeted us then walked us and covered us to our car in the rain. 🌧️ Thank you so much 😇

Usually I have a great experience but this evening was just unacceptable. I went about shopping per usual and finally came to check out with a cashier. Upon ringing my items up I stated very kindly but slightly confused that a coupon did not apply that as supposed to apply. The cashier in a very very nasty ans snappy way stated you got the sale and basically my cousin wouldn't apply. This would've been fine but I asked why and she stated because the sale applied and you can't apply the coupon with sale to redeem the free item. Everything would've been fine it's just the disposition of the cashier. I've worked in grocery retail in my early/entry into the workforcr and I've never had attitudes with customers especially when they're asking for clarity.
Just why would you interact with someone like that.

Love publix. Will drive by other grocery stores just to get there. Amazing fresh bakery section. The deli meets are tastey. For a busy life, you can order shikutari, boards and other platters to go pick up curbside. If I could give it ten stars, I would.
