Avoid this place! They will ruin your car!
I went here for an oil change. It was very quick but as soon as I drove off I knew something was wrong. They overfilled my engine oil and it caused the engine to run rough and stall. My transmission also started slipping right afterwards. I took it back and they said they accidentally added the oil twice so 11 quarts instead of 5.5. they drained half of the oil and the truck ran much better but the transmission was still slipping. There was transmission fluid all over underneath and they probably drained it thinking it was the oiI plug and once they realized their mistake decided not to tell me. I had to pay jiffy lube $179 to fill my transmission fluid back up and they confirmed the pan was emptied. Absolutely the worst possible oil change ever and had I not noticed the shifting issues in time this would have cost me $6000 for a new transmission.

I’ve been using Southern Services for over a decade for oil changes and state inspections. They have always been fast and friendly. This time, however, I took my 2013 Toyota Tacoma in for inspection and when I went to pay they had charged me an extra $10 for the inspection. When I asked why, he replied because of window tinting. I explained that I had never added tinting and he said I had because he could see a line on the windows. I further explained that I bought the vehicle brand new from the dealership and they all came with tinting. Furthermore, I said in all the times I’ve had it inspected, I’ve never been charged for tinting. He smugly replied that “no one must have ever checked it”. Seriously?? In the 12 years I’ve owned the vehicle no one has noticed the tinting or charged me for it?? Tinting that was installed by dealership?? It’s only $10, but sounds like shady business practices to me. I don’t know if management or ownership has changed, but I will not be bringing my vehicles back.

Check your oil level before you drive off. Had the oil changed in my truck there this morning which holds 8 quarts. Low engine oil light notification came on on the way back to my office. Checked the oil and the dipstick was dry. Ended up adding 4.5 quarts. Called the technician that did the work and he claimed to have installed all 8 quarts. Be careful out there.

I have been bringing both my cars and motorcycles here for 5 years and will happily keep them as my inspection station. Many inspection places will not inspect motorcycles, and this place consistently has for the years I have been going here.
I have never had to provide anything other than the vehicle registration, $13.60, and then run through the lights, brakes, and blinkers as they are not as standardized as on cars. Most I have spent here is a half hour on busier mornings.

Before you read, pay attention to the other recent reviews. There’s a pattern.
This is one of those places where it’s clear no one wants to be there, and helping people is the worst part of their day. I called to confirm they provided inspections for motorcycles. They said they did. I came in, provided all the paperwork necessary, and got a story about how their system is from the 90s and they need additional paperwork. They were dismissive and not apologetic at all. I made a quick phone call, found a place less than one mile down the road, and was in and out in less than 15 minutes.
There are so many options for inspections and oil changes on Williams. Do not give this company your money. There are plenty of businesses who actually appreciate customers.

INCOMPETENT IMBECILES! Don't trust these CLOWNS with your vehicle. Mechanic FAILED to secure oil pan after oil change. I witnessed another customer return to shop to secure his Registration. Dud mechanic had mixed up Registrations & given him the wrong Registration. I'm reporting this shop to the DMV!
