It is a cardinal sin to purchase a mattress with zero protection on whether or not it works for you. DO NOT buy junk from this place - I purchased their “best seller” orthopedic luxury firm and it is firm in the wrong places, and sags in the wrong places. Sleeping on your back? You will kill your lower back because the bed can fold hamburger style BY DESIGN, sleeping on your side? You will wake up with a numb shoulder and sore hips thanks to that ingenious center design and cost cutting on padding. Not happy? Get ready to lose 25 percent of your money and then you get to pay for a new cruddy bed. DON’T DO IT

I’ve bought a few mattresses from The Original Mattress Factory without problems. However, do not buy the orthopedic mattress! You completely sink into the middle and have to fight to stay on the outer edge.
A rep did come look at the mattress. He said it is normal for softer beds to do this. Wish I would have been warned that “orthopedic plush” means you will completely sink into the middle of the bed and that it’s impossible for two people to use.

Our bed and pillows are great and comfortable, very happy with them. What I really wanted to leave a review about was the delivery. The two men who delivered our mattress were fantastic. They were incredibly nice and helpful, beyond what they had to do. They moved an old queen mattress and box spring out of the guest room (as planned) BUT then all this extra -- also disassembled the frame in the guest room; disassembled and moved the (better quality as they pointed out) queen frame from the master to the guest room and reassembled it and re-attached the queen head board. Moved the queen bed and box spring from the master to the guest room. Then brought in my new king mattress to the master room -- being very careful of not tracking in dirt/grass from outside and being careful of my walls in a tight space as much as possible while moving what is apparently their heaviest mattress sold. I really really appreciated all the extra help, even more so because my husband was unable to be home for the delivery as originally planned to help with all of the above. Thanks you! They deserve a paid day off or something!

I loved everything about the experience of buying my mattress here. The woman who assisted us was knowledgeable, patient, and put absolutely zero pressure on us throughout our decision process. She took my feedback on the pillow top mattress and was able to suggest a fix of adding additional support columns (blue foam supports) which we ended up going with. I am posting this from my extremely comfortable bed, lol. Thank you!

Best mattress and great delivery experience! I love our new mattress and box spring. And even better was the delivery experience. They did not charge me extra to move my old bed frames and mattress to another room, and moved an old twin down to my garage. They also set up my new bed and attached the headboard. The pricing and sales help was fantastic too! Don't buy from anywhere else. These are made here in Raleigh ! #shoplocal my friends

While it is easy to go to their store and pick out your mattress, it is not cheap. You will be able to do much better with the on-line purveyors who are willing to price more aggressively and give you some extras for free.
As a returning client, they did not discount anything and they charge a big fee for delivery and a separate fee to pick up your old mattress. I called them on this and the OMF maintains that they offer this great low price and will not do discounting, but it is not low.
Again, if they were more flexible with pricing and rewarding a multiple purchase repeat customer, they would get a higher rating. The attitude when I talked to their HQ was take it or leave it, and I will choose to leave it. They just lost a long time customer due to greed and attitude.
