Always a wait with this pharmacy. Shows online that your order is ready, then you pull up and they tell they are just now beginning to process the order. Then you have to sit around for 10 minutes or so waiting. You would think management would do something about this. It happens to everyone. I was in the drive thru one time and I heard them say the same thing to the person next me. He claimed he was told it was ready for pick up. Keep hoping they'll get it together. Maybe this review will help

Very terrible experience, first she told me wait for 15 minutes so that she can make the medicine according to the formula but when I waited 15 to 20 minutes she gave me the medicine which is already in store shelve which is insane and I have to pay for that. Very disappointed from their service. I wanted to change the pharmacy now. Very bad service.

Do not take your kids to this Labcorp location. Wildly unprofessional and rude tech with no patience for kids who are nervous about getting their blood drawn. The tech literally told my kid that he could get it drawn there or go to the hospital where they’d “tie him down”. I insisted on trying to calm him and talk with him for a moment and she kept trying to make us leave. Horrible experience.

7 people in line outside and inside but girl behind the counter is having a social conversation with a customer she obviously went to school with for 10min now while everyone waits!

Honestly very unhappy with their photo services. When I arrived, I asked if they offered “instant” photos to which the woman at the counter said yes. In my head, I was thinking instant literally meant instantly, and thought the photo printed out right after submitting, like they do at the CVS photo machines. After sitting at the machine for 15 minutes trying to connect my phone and load my photos, I submitted my photo only to find that instant meant a minimum of 30 mins. I was on my way to a party and couldn’t sit there and wait for the photo, so I asked the woman if it would be ready any sooner, as I wasn’t aware there was a 30 minute wait. She stated since it’s the holidays, it will take even longer. I was so upset I had just wasted all this time, only for me to have to take the extra 10 min drive to CVS (which I should’ve done in the first place) where the photos are actually INSTANT. Not to mention, you can hop on the WiFi and instantly send the photo to the machine to avoid all the BS of having to hook up your phone. I will never return to Walgreens for my photo needs, what a colossal waste of time!!

I called this Walgreens in Alex, NC and they confirmed they had my medication so I gave them my other pharmacy phone number so the prescription could be filled. When I got here, they told me they did not have my prescription and I asked why. They said they didn’t have the medication so the prescription was not transferred…. This is one reason I previously stopped coming here! HOW CAN YOU TELL SOMEONE YOU HAVE THE MEDICATION AND THEN TELL THEM YOU DON’T WHEN YOU ARRIVE? I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND WILL URGE OTHERS NEVER TO SHOP AT WALGREENS FOR THIS REASON!!!

Stay from this location if coming for medical exam or drug tests. Took 3 days to complete my drug test. Worst location ever. Poor management.

Everytime I call in to check the status of my prescriptions the automated systems tells me it'll be ready after a specific time. I'll stop by two hours after it's supposed to be ready and they never have it ready. I don't blame the employees themselves because I think they just understaffed.

Terrible pharmacy! Do not get your prescriptions here!! They never give me the full amount for my prescriptions because they “don’t have the full amount in stock” even with simple pain medications. They told us the medication would be ready in 20 minutes, we came back and they told us they “forgot” and to give them another 20 minutes. I just got my wisdom teeth out and need my antibiotics ASAP. They only gave me half of my medicine and made me come back multiple times.

Had a conversation with a member of the pharmacy staff at 5:45 where she told me my prescription is ready, confirmed with pharmacist she could send out door dash to deliver medication, took my credit card info, and told me the Uber would pick up my medication at 6:37 and would be delivered before 8:30.
She told me she would call if anything went wrong. At 8:45 I still received no medicine or phone call. When I called Walgreens, the man on the line indicated he had no record of any of this happening. And in fact, the prescription was not filled.
This means the initial employee was either lying the entire phone call or simply didn’t do any of the things she said she did.
This is very unethical and it is just plain wrong to have either this level of malice or this level of incompetence at a pharmacy. Peoples lives and well-being rely on this.
Learn from this.
2 stars, not 1 star, because the man who picked up the second time tried his best to make it right.

I don’t even want to give them 1 star… not only did they put my 3 month olds prescription on a different account (for a 10 year old) in Oregon instead of North Carolina (the only state my baby has ever been in) but they made the dosage for a 10 year old instead of being for a 3 month old VERY BIG DIFFERENCE!!! Then on top of it all had the wrong insurance!! Yes I did also verify the prescription with what the doctors office wrote. Very bad verification and checking!!!

I went to this walgreens for the Labcorp component to get a drug test and the tech working in the lab was very rude to multiple customers including myself and let me stand there for an hour before acknowledging me and telling me that my check in did not process. I believe her name was Ms. Surles. Then when I got inside the lab, she was very short with me and was not open to answering my questions but instead shoved a screen in my face. I would not recommend getting drug screens at this location.

We arrived at the Walgreens pharmacy counter at 3:15 PM. I was sick and had to wait for the staff at Walgreens to prepare my medication. My husband asked them three times, and each time they said it would take 15 minutes. Finally, I got the medicine at 5:05 PM. One of the staff members even questioned why my husband didn't ask them. It's outrageous to make a sick patient wait for nearly two hours without any apparent reason. It's ridiculous.

We've been in line in the drive thru for 15 minutes and they have only helped one car. It's pretty excessive. Would go inside but feels like we're committed now.
