Went by in car to check out the marina. Docks falling down, everything in disrepair. Years ago great place to keep our boat-now --never.

Such a peaceful place. I am grateful they let golfcarts on property near inlet and beach.

This is the nicest small marina with awesome people, if they can dredge the channel, I'm moving there asap, so secluded and quiet I absolutely will go back

Good people and good marina. People are very friendly, especially the dock master John.

This used to be a great little marina; that is unfortunately no longer the case. The marina has changed hands and all the experienced staff is gone. Furthermore, the new management has drastically increased the prices without improving any of the amenities. While work is being done, the docks have not been repaired and the channel still has not been dredged (only about 4' in places). I recommend avoiding this marina at all costs.

Not familiar with prices but they charged me $510 for a haul out so pressure washing scraping the bottom and 7 days on the hard a total of $851. I didn't authorize them scraping the bottom they did it on their own and charged me. They have no one to do any mechanical work which they said they did when I talked to them.

Excellent facilities and staff. About the only disadvantage is how far away it is from almost everything else.

Daniel and Pete were amazingly helpful, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They helped me with a long list of needed items on my Pearson 33-2. The most worrying item was replacing the centerboard pendant which likely had not been replaced ever. The boat is 35 years old. The pendant runs through a watertight passage in the keel. They cut the old cable and spliced in the new. They taped up the splice and greased the pendant tubes and cable. I helped draw in the new cable. It went in without a hitch. Daniel climbed the mast in less than a minute to troubleshoot anchor light. I could go on and on, but I must now return to my working life ashore. Thank you, Wayfarers Cove. Ken Gasch, Durham, NC

Great place to keep a boat! The staff is attentive and extremely helpful. We are experiencing a low water event (the river does not have tides, but the wind causes the water level to fluctuate) and the staff have been busy keeping lines tensioned correctly. Thanks!
