Quality Inn High Point offers a mixed experience but shows potential with its friendly staff and clean rooms. Guests often appreciate the helpfulness and kindness of the front desk team, especially individuals like Jordan, Laurie, and Penny, who go out of their way to assist guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. Many reviewers mention that the management is attentive and accommodating, especially when last-minute changes or issues arise. The hotel’s location is considered convenient, being midway between Raleigh and Charlotte, with good local food options nearby, including a breakfast spread that guests find satisfactory. However, the property has notable areas needing improvement. Several reviews highlight that rooms can be dusty, musty, and have issues with cleanliness, such as hair in the tubs and wet bathroom floors, leading to a less comfortable stay. The air conditioning units and carpets are sometimes filthy or smell like cigarettes, and the overall condition of the rooms and building appears to need upgrades. The pool is functional but may require repairs in the future. Understaffing seems to be an issue, impacting the overall maintenance and cleanliness. Despite these concerns, the staff’s positive attitude and the value offered make the hotel a preferable choice for many travelers, especially those seeking budget-friendly options with friendly service. Guests frequently express their willingness to return, citing the staff’s cohesiveness and caring nature as standout qualities. With some investment in the property’s maintenance and upgrades, Quality Inn High Point could enhance its reputation further.
Nice hotel, could use nicer beds and pillows. The rates are a bit high
