Everything with the move went great. The initial contract to give us our quote was within $50 of the total cost. The moving team exceeded our expectations on the loading and unloading. If I ever move again Allied would be my choice. Exceptional job

The driver was very good and responsive. The crew on both ends were very poor in their handling of our items. They opened up some boxes we had packed to insert smaller boxes inside. It should be against company policy to open a customers box without customer authorization. The crew mishandled my tool boxes so presently I am unable to open them up to the manner in which they moved them. Your company did not accurately estimate the size of the 2 loads on the truck. As a result one quarter of our load was not able to fit on the truck and is currently in your warehouse awaiting another truck heading west. This load includes a dresser with clothes we can not access. I was surprised that I had to pay for the entire load prior to receiving even though part of our load is sitting in your warehouse.Walter Perry

The Arden Allied team was terrific. From our initial contact through the entire process, everyone— the estimator, the move coordinator, the packing and loading team were courteous and highly professional. And the move times and delivery schedule were all as originally quoted. While I don’t expect another move back across the country, Allied would certainly be my first choice.

Our move from Asheville to Denver seemed overwhelming, but this company took so much stress off and made it so much easier. From Kimberly coming to the house for the estimate, Malta as the move coordinator, and Nick and his crew packing up all our stuff, it went so smoothly. And the same for the truck arriving in CO, Nick and the unloading crew were so awesome, friendly, and professional.

They helped us move to a different state. The process was efficient with good communication from start to finish. There was not a large gap in time between pick up and delivery of our stuff. Other than a single lightbulb, nothing was damaged or lost.

Our driver Curtis was professional and kept us updated when he would be picking up and delivering.

Worst nightmare move ever! Zero is more appropriate! I have used Allied and other moving companies before and never had such a bad experience. My last Allied move with a different location was a 5 and my items were treated with care and respect and fully documented on the load and unload ends. No headaches at all! The guys wrapping on the load end of this move were fine, loading into the truck was not. I am still documenting broken items from mine being crushed in the truck due to the first half customer being way underestimated on space while mine didn't even take up the estimated space I was quoted and scheduled for. Boxes were crushed, furniture was broken, scratched, mattresses drug across the ground unwrapped on the receiving end, items not put back together.....you name it, it happened. Including a delivery of ants. Care was taken to wrap items on the loading end, but were then crushed, stepped on and overstacked in the truck, and were unwrapped in the yard instead of the house on the receiving end. Boxes marked fragile were crushed on the loading end in the truck, items loaded in the truck underbelly and cab due to no room. Again, I was UNDER my estimate for truck space but my items paid the price for the overloaded front end. Items not supposed to be disassembled were and not reassembled on the receiving end, or reassembled incorrectly and damaged. I have no furniture without some damage. Items on the receiving end were put in spots not directed, boxes slid down stairs, dropped, stacked with fragile ones on the bottom and walls dented, dinged and scratched. Even with the claim forms, some sentimental and antique items cannot be replaced. In addition, one item of furniture never came off the truck. I was told they wouldn't be able to get it into the house where it was to go. I suspect it was crushed and damaged on the truck but never got to see it so am out that item. I would NEVER use this Allied branch or any other again. Rent a U-haul, hire licensed movers to load and unload and you'll save money and your things. And then if you have to spend receiving end day directing and inspecting at least you might get people who understand what FRAGILE is and can read it on boxes and tubs and listen when you tell them as well! And your crew chief won't be sleeping in the truck the entire time on receiving day, 4 days after load day for a 400 mile move. Oh, and I also have items from the overloaded front half that no one will tell me what to do with despite me asking, and were supposed to leave with the truck to be returned to their actual owners. I wouldn't be surprised if they have some of my things too despite the different colored stickers to "prevent mix ups." Don't waste your money on this unprofessional company with the worst service I have ever received on a move!

Our cross country move went very smoothly with Allied. Kimberly and Malta were great organizers, and the movers Rob and Jonathan were efficient, professional, communicative and all around wonderful. I would use their services again and highly recommend them.

Carey Moving provided a fixed price quote for moving goods and a car cross country. They were professional and reliable on both ends of the move.

Some confusion with quoting price. Original quote and number of boxes were wrong even though the employee toured our house to see what was needed so we had to pay moreThe staff that loaded our belongings were awesome!! The staff that unloaded us at our new house were amazing also!!A few of our things were broken in transit. A large pane of glass in my dining hutch was shatteredThe umbrella for our outdoor furniture is MIAI have filed for insurance to help reimburse us for these issuesWe will not be using this company in the future
