The CVS on Long Shoals in Arden NC is dirty and disheveled and the pharmacy is as well. I will be changing my primary pharmacy election with Medicare away from CVS due to their inability to deliver ( provide when stated) Rx on time with no notification of delay with outcome being unable to fill same day as no time to get new order from doctor to different pharmacy. I tried to give 0 stars but won’t post without at least 1.

They seem to adjust their hours on a daily basis, which doesn’t match up with what’s listed online. Extremely unreliable.

As others have said, go somewhere, anywhere else. Poor customer service. My toddler (16 months old) had a prescription needed for sickness after a doctor visit. Sent to this pharmacy which we tried to pick up after the appt (bit of a drive so typically enough time in between) and not ready. Ok, no problem. We'll come back before closing due to work. Called 25 minutes before close and said we were on the way, close to closing time and explained how we really needed the meds for our sons pain management. I would never again buy any medication from CVS pharmacy. Cashier/pharmacist tech arbitrily makes personal decisions about % discount on medication. She lied about the discount (Good R/X discount coupon) associated with my medication and I could have saved at least 30% more with other pharmacies.

Second time I've came in around 7pm and they're closed. Their hours say they're open, yet they're not. I'm sick of this CVS it's always dirty and when it's open the people are unhelpful and slow. Don't go here go anywhere else.

I like to have confidence in the businesses I deal with and some, I expect total confidence. Pharmacies are one of those businesses and this one does not instill confidence at all. Prescription was there before they opened and called about an hour after. Once they found it, they told me about an hour, took my number and promised to text me when ready. Tried four hours later and could not get through on the phone so drove over. It was ready. The lady that served me was pleasant and I was out the door. Hey, it happens. Moving on until the directions(not on the bottle) did not align with what I was told at the doctor's office. This I confirmed with a call to the doctor. Again, moving on, until quantity of pills on bottle is 10 and all that I had in the bottle were 8. My goodwill is gone. I won't be back except to pick up the pills that I should have received. I know that businesses are struggling to find good help, but this is beyond unacceptable.

Sloooooooowwwwwww pharmacy service. They really need to make the drive thru 2 lanes and not have one lane drop-off only. People taking covid tests at the drive thru clog up the whole line for 10-15 minutes. No way to escape once you're in the queue. No call to let you know they don't have the medications you need in stock. Only found out after waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes that they didn't have the meds my dr. had called in the day before. Also, they fill refills even if you don't request them, which can mess things up if you are waiting for a mail order refill. Ugh. Do yourself a favor and just go inside, or better yet, somewhere else.
