Have used this pharmacy for 5 years and they have been amazing up until the last 3 months. Now they are rude, lazy and dismissive. One day coming through the drive thru they shut the window in my face, rolled down the metal security roller and put a sign saying drive thru closed due to lack of staff. I was making eye contact with the lady as she did it! So rude. I went inside and there were 5 people working at the pharmacy. 1 pharmacist and 4 techs. None of them acknowledged me waiting and standing at the counter. They then were complaining to each other about their schedules and looking at a computer screen. Couldn’t care less about the customers. Whatever is going on here FIX IT. It’s not the same CVS I used since 2019.

Terrible employees. My husband looked up about where we could drop off a an amazon return at ups and since the one on airport road was closed we drove to this one. He then went in with the original amazon box that it came in, not taped or with a label since we chose that option of return and the lady immediatley had an attitude saying that "this was a drop off location only and needed to have it taped, label on, etc., and that they dont accept that", He told her that it was his first time returning it here and that he didnt know, nor did it say anywhere about that and she proceeds to have an attitude saying "yeah whatever" as he left. Would not reccomend. Employees are getting way more unprofessuonal everyday.

Idk why there are bad reviews because this CVS is always good to me. I come here all the time as I live nearby. They work their butt off & it shows. Especially when they are likely understaffed.

For some reason this is the worst ran CVS. They change their hours which is fine. But every time I've come in here to get my prescription, I can't stay because there's always a wait. One time I came in they were out to lunch.Tell me one person can't be there during lunch hours? It's ridiculous imor another properly ran CVS but avoid this one at all cost!. I just want to add that I went through the driving line today. Don't go on the outside of the drive-in line because they don't acknowledge you. I sat there and watched three people go past me. Then I finally went in to see if I could get my prescription. That would literally have taken 10 seconds and I was not even greeted. I had to leave. shop at your own risk

Excellent customer service from Yanique at the front register. Very professional and helped me with the entire photo process. It's always a nightmare! I highly recommend this location to everyone! She definitely made my day! Thanks again Yanique ?

Absolutely the WORST CVS I have ever encountered, specific to the pharmacy. It’s almost too long of a list of issues I’ve experienced over the past few months to describe here, so I’ll offer an abridged version: 1. three separate occasions in which the pharmacy was closed due to “pipe burst” issues or staffing issues, either re the drive thru or the entire store. Over the course of two months. 2. Another three occasions in which a prescription called in (not complex and not requiring any special obscure or rare medications- we’re talking things like simple scripts) were not filled for many hours after being transferred to the pharmacy by the dr office. One took an entire business day. 3. Today, a prescription was called in mid-am for a basic antibiotic to treat strep throat, and after a couple of hours waiting for notification that it had been filled (again, a really long wait) we had to call for info, to then be told they only had enough in stock to be able to fill half of the script. Half.It’s just absurd. To call them unreliable is an understatement. I strongly urge folks to stay away from this location if you have any need for prescription medication.Sorry. Tried to keep it as brief as I could.

The CVS on Long Shoals is my absolute go-to for any health/personal items, holiday decor, or candy, and all sorts of other things. The staff is friendly and kind and treats me like a valued customer.

Do not call if you want to talk to a human. CVS phone system and corporate policy issue. Staff is great, polite, knowledgeable, except the Pharmacist will hang up on you. There is no reason the highest paid person, w the most education, certification and pressure should ever have to answer the phone. I called 3xs. Stayed on hold 5+min, drove there and watched the Pharmacist disconnect my call. He should have at least answered and said "please hold." System and corporate problem but the way that Pharmacist handled the prob was wrong. Does not reflect on his task as a Pharmacist but on his character.

You call they hung up. Five callings five hanging up.At pharmacy .Now if too busy say can you call back at noon etc we are real busy but to hang up on someone five times not bothering you open your mouth and say yes med ready no not or call back we are busy.Very rude to hang up on someone.We are you alls customers you certainly are not ours THINK about it. Train better. Treat customers better. Because you sure do not know proper customer service.Word of mouth can make you or break you.Think about it.And yes I worked retail. I worked as a manager. So... This was not proper protocol!!!!

My Family and I moved to the Asheville area a number of years ago. We are getting older and found ourselves needing a very good Pharmacy to help us keep up with our ever-changing medications. CVS on Long Shoals Rd was a perfect fit for us. Matt and Morgan, the Pharmacists here, have gathered a group of Pharmacy Techs and Associates (JB, Anita, Jared and others) who together comprise our personal health-care team. They keep our prescriptions filled in a timely manner but also advise us how we can save money and also keep us informed of changes in our prescriptions. They have also help us navigate Medicare and our other insurance. I give this Pharmacy a Five Star, A Plus Plus rating and we thank them sincerely for all their care.

Jared was VERY helpful to me. Iwas in Miami trying to get covid results, couldn't login. He helped me to figure out what i did wrong. He saved our trip/ cruise. Would not have been able to go. Thank you for taking the time to help me. Karen
