The adult fitness park is great for pull ups and chin ups. I wish more parks had them.

No matter the season, Lake Julian is always a great choice for a stroll. Since they no longer have food stations for the ducks, everyone is calmer and more enjoyable to watch. 5 stars, even with the wind!

Great playground for my grandkids. Nice lake. They were getting ready for the Christmas light drive-thru, but we were able to play anyway. Loved the musical instruments to play, too.

The rental shed was nice, clean, and spacious. The foot paddle boats were are a good rental price. The restrooms could have been a little cleaner, but I understand hundreds if not thousands use them. Overall, Lake Julian Park was beautiful. I would definitely return.Playground: The playground accommodated lots of children and the equipment was safe and clean. It kept the kids busy for awhile.

Great playground. Didn’t checkout restrooms or anything. The picnic areas were pretty clean.Would highly recommend this park. There’s a little trash out but that’s not the parks fault. The kids park is great. Not far from the fishing area.

Beautiful park, lovely lake to kayak. $8 for a day on the lake. Enjoyable, lots of amenities, and public restrooms. Guides were helpful. Only thing I'll say is wear shoes you don't care about because there is a lot of duck poop.

Y’all don’t be afraid to bring some cracked corn along or some feed for the ducks and chickens. The water here completely kills and food source there may be for them. So without us feeding them, they will starve. The park is beautiful. And it’s well kept. The staff is very friendly. Park closes at 8pm on the dot. Be kind to the environment and the park. Please pick up faster yourselves. Especially you people that love leaving deflated balloons after a birthday party. Have some respect. Also if you happen to stop by and see a wonderful woman named Mrs. Mary feeding the ducks and geese, it’s truly an honor to meet her. She is the staple of the Park in my opinion, and She has been feeding these babies for years. Without her starting to help out I don’t believe there would be many ducks or Geese left. She does this all on her own y’all. There’s actually a group of three Women who come to feed.Dog-friendliness: All dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash.

Yesterday, July 22rd 2023, I kayaked for the first time at Lake Julian. The park was well kept, the lake is beautifully clear, and there is plenty of good parking tucked around the park. The only detriment was the amount of trash along the shores- and LOTs of fishing line left in the trees. I picked up all I could. - That said, it is a beautiful park and I'll definitely be back to explore.

Nice lake. Not nice power plant adjacent to it. Paddle boat rental $8 for a half hour. Fits 4 people. Fishing permits are also available for purchase on site for $4. Big park for kids to play on. Fishing pier to throw poles in the lake and see what bites. Benches and tables are also around the park and water.Playground: Great playground for kids and adults
