Dr.Faber and her staff are just amazing. Dr. Faber is very thoughtful, and explains the best course of action. I would highly recommend Dr. Faber she and her staff are GREAT!!!!

This was my first interaction with MyEyeDr. After confirming my appointment THREE times, including a phone call with the office, AND a confirming text message the day before, I arrived at the appointed time only to find out my appointment had been changed to the next day. WITHOUT alerting me BEFORE I drove 20 minutes to their office. The office staff was pleasant but unable to help me with my appointment. I will be looking elsewhere for a new eye dr.

I'm only giving two stars because Dr. Ski is so amazing.. the rest are awful. I was very disappointed with my experience today at MyEyeDr Arden. I've been coming here for years because I genuinely love Dr. Ski but over the years, my experience with the staff has declined. Being that I have 6+ years in medical office settings, I completely understand that you have to set a time frame for patients that have to be rescheduled when late.. but if you have a set policy in place, I think that needs to be relayed to patients. I called this morning because traffic was terrible and I was running behind. When I called the front desk staff, I told them my name and that I was running about 5 minutes late and Kim said "Thats fine, we'll see you when you get here." Now as a patient, it would have been nice to be told "Ok, but if you're going to be more than 10 minutes, you'll have to be rescheduled" but I wasn't. I arrived 11 minutes late and they were so incredibly rude about making me reschedule. I begged them to just please ask Dr. Ski and they continued to be rude and tell me no, got the manager, who was equally as rude. I don't think they believed I could hear them because when the 3 women gathered behind the desk, saying I was "demanding to be seen", mind you I was not. I simply was asking to please help me out because no one had made me aware of the 10 min late policy.. Anywho, one girl noticed the color of my skin (I'm not d**** and said, "Is she threatening??". That was the straw for me. I was never rude or inappropriate in my conversation with that staff. I just think it's unfortunate that they don't tell patients about the 10 minute rule, especially considering most doctors I've been to have a 15 min reschedule rule. Nothing on the reminder text, reminder email, or website FAQs. It's really sad that after many years coming to the sweet and amazing Dr. Sean Ski, I now have to find another eye doctor due to his hateful staff.

I can't say enough positive things about this location in Arden NC. I had a horrible experience at Pisgah Vision in Brevard NC. The associate behind the counter threw a paper at me after being scolded for screwing up and the lady in their eyeglass center was picking her nose and answering the phone while I was trying to select frames. So I ended up taking my prescription (which ironically was also very incorrect even after two visits to the Pisgah location) to MrEyeDr in Arden. Trinity was wonderful to work with and so helpful in helping me select frames and working to assist me in every way. I also had another refractory exam done by Dr. Faber, who was probably the best DO I have ever come in contact with. The glasses came out perfect. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful from start to finish - can't recommend them enough!

This was my 1st visit and it was excellent! The whole experience from the receptionist, doctor, and people helping me choose my glasses and produces were amazing. They listened to my concerns and needs, were patient, friendly, knowledgable, professional, and very helpful. I highly reccommend MyEyeDr and look forward to my next visit.

I have been going to Dr. Skierczynski for 10 years and have been very happy with him and Dr. Faber. Since My Eye Doctor took over, every visit has been a frustrating experience for months after the visit. Even though I pay during each visit, I have received bills and threatening letter for services that I did not receive. If I paid them, it would add up to 100's of dollars. I finally got the insurance company to call them to get my money back for charges that were made without my knowledge. They even back billed for the past two years after I had already closed out those tax years. When I called with questions, I was switched around for an hour and never got any answers. The onsite financial officer would not talk to me about my account. I finally just waited until it was written off since I couldn't get any explanation of the extra and hidden charges. My glasses prescription was messed up and so I went to another My eye Dr to get some more eye glasses and discovered that the Hendersonville Road office had charged me $130 dollars instead of billing the insurance.I've Transferred my records to Carolina Ophthalmology and will go to Dr. Duggan for services for now on. I really hate to leave Dr. Ski but I tried for a year to get some administrative cooperation and finally gave up. When I went to Dr. Duggan, he said he had other new patients that had joined his practice because of their negative experiences with My Eye Doctor.

Self and family have been patients for years starting with Dr. Mike Sowa.Great techs and docs... Love Dr. Faber, but since being absorbed into MyEyeDr the rest of the office has gone to hell .... trying to contact them through corporate is futile. The girls at the desk could easily work a double at Goodwill. The glasses / eyewear station guy couldn't try any harder to discourage business.etc. etc.Have moved my records to Carolina Ophthalmology.

It was my first time there and everyone is great. Dr.Sean, Susan, Randy, Trinity and the ladies at the front desk, that I didn't get the names of, were all very nice and welcoming!! All around a great visit.

Unbelievable. The dr might be fine but the billing dept is outrageous. After paying almost 1K the day of the appt, this office charged a $10 co-pay we were never aware of. Despite confirming the proper address, we never received any notices whatsoever of this balance. Now it's gone to collections...for $10! No one called, no one checked. No apologies.Upon further inspection on the original bill, this $10 was already included in the $935.40 we paid at the time of service. We work hard to keep excellent credit - it's so disappointing that one bad billing system can throw a wrench in it.

My first time going, I got lost GPS lead me to a dentist office so I called and a man answered and said can I put u on a brief hold, I said yes . That brief hold turned into 45 mins so I hung up and called back 4 times, first 3 times I was hung up on and 4 time they left me waiting. I never experience that ever. My apt was @ 10:50 I didn't leave the parking lot until almost 12. In the process of calling trying to get directions a man was doing the same thing calling and trying to find this place. It was a mess I came all the way from west Asheville for nothingUPDATE UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! I'm changing it from one star to five star!!!Since my last visit I finally found the place the staff I got this go round from signing in to leaving out was great. Everyone was really nice and really flexible I was a few minutes late and the doctor still see me she took her time to try and help me figure out everything now that I have the actual experience of this place I love this place it's far from where I stay but it was worth the travel again.

I brought my son in for his very first visit to an optometrist, he is autistic so I made sure to make the staff aware when I made his appointment. From the moment we arrived, Trinity, Susan, and Dr. Fabor immediately put his anxiety at ease creating a fun and engaging environment. The staff are beyond professional. They are compassionate and incredibly knowledgeable, taking time to explain and walk the client through the exam process, a true asset to Dr. Fabor who showed the epitome of client centered care when working with my son. She went above and beyond when showing him there was nothing to fear as she patiently demonstrated for him what to expect, offering to do the eye check on his stuffed animal first. As a customer I am please with their efficacy in service-as a mother…I have never felt such warmth and regard towards my child. I left with my cheeks hurting from smiling so much, and he left with a positive association with the eye Dr. That will carry him throughout his lifetime. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I am exceedingly grateful to My Eye Dr in Arden NC.
