Fur baby doctors that really care about your 4legged family member-calls after hours just to check up- great staff from start to finish-would definitely recommend this group

Dr. McMullen was great! He was very attentive and had good suggestions for my improving my dog's allergies. He didn't recommend unnecessary expenses. This was the first time my pup has had a wellness visit for less than $500 in his life! I'm so glad we switched from Animal Hospital of North Asheville.

Dr McMullan is great. Always caring and you can tell how much he cares about animals. He presents you with options and respects your decision. Dr Bragg is an entirely different story. She is condescending and rude. It really seems like she doesn't know how to talk to people. She is very judgemental and has no knowledge of working dogs. It seems like she tries to push everything she can on you just to add on to the price of the visit. If we do decide to go back, we will insist on seeing Dr McMullan.

Absolutely love this place. Won’t go anywhere else. My dog suffers from severe environmental allergies and they have been the first out of four vets to give actual options on how to get him relief

Absolutely abysmal service. I had to take my partner's cat in for a check up. The appt was changed from a Tuesday to Wednesday by them. So, with an 3:30pm appt, I did the school pick up at TC Robertson- right across the street- at 3:00pm. I proceeded to the office despite being 15 minutes early - really the only thing that made sense. They brought me into a room and I was interviewed by a vet tech. 40 minutes went by and I realized what time it was and went out to the entry and stated that my girlfriend would come by in about an hour to pick the cat up, but that I needed to leave. I was suffering from a migraine, had a kid in the car sitting alone in the parking lot, and had a 40 minute drive across town to take care of a multitude of other things that were waiting from me. Yes, I was early but at this point they were running way behind. The vet tech mumbled something and proceeded to wander up and down the hallway- doing what I'm not exactly sure. She briefly stopped back by the room I was in and I said: " Look, I'm not trying to be difficult, but I have a migraine and have a child also sitting in the car now for 45 minutes". She left again to do what..I'm not sure...but after another 5 minutes of this..I was done waiting and I went in to the back where I think she was talking with the Vet (instead of talking with me in the room) and I stated once again- "I'm leaving" and proceeded to walk out-very frustrated that I was seemingly having to wait for permission to leave. The same woman who I believe was the Vet followed me out saying: "excuse me sir, I think is some sort of a misunderstanding". I said no misunderstanding, I'm just not waiting any longer. She said your appt was for 3:30- at this point it was 4:05- and I said yes...and I've still waited for 50 minutes. She then said ironically- "we're doing the best we can" to which I replied: "As am I". At no point when I said I needed to leave did they say to me - the customer- I understand why you're wanting to leave you , or I'm so sorry that you're not feeling well, or I'm sorry that we're running behind, apparently according to them, because I was not willing to wait that I was being rude. The Vet we have in N Asheville (All pets) is such a stark difference in how they deal with you - the customer. If the Vet working there handles her practice with the same sort of casual disregard that she dealt with me...your pet is in very grave danger. We'll be moving all out pets immediately.

We brought our 13 y/o shih tzu in for a dental cleaning and we are beyond happy!! Given our dog’s age we obviously had tons of concerns about the procedure, but the staff was empathetic, helpful, and patient with us as we made our decision. We scheduled for January and the procedure went amazing!! She had 13 extractions, and the price for procedure was far lower than what I’d been quoted at other vets. She healed AMAZINGLY despite the 13 extractions. Obviously healing time can vary for different dogs but I am just soooo thankful they were so gentle with my senior girl :’)Thank you so much Dr. McMullan and all the staff at Pinnacle Animal Hospital!!

Dr. McMullan and all of the staff at Pinnacle provide outstanding care!!! They listen, evaluate and treat each pet with great expertise and kindness too. I used to go to AHNA with my 3 dogs. When that practice began to change so much, I found Pinnacle and have been extremely happy there for over a year now. I'll continue to take my dogs to Pinnacle! I will say it again, outstanding care!!

My black lab had a seizure, I took her here for a checkup, and they wanted to keep her for observation . She was supposed to be coming home by lunch.. lunch turned into evening.. when I went after her they requested I pull around to the dumpsters ..now, my baby girl walked in there on her own, and was following my commands ..but, when I picked her up they said to come to the door at the dumpsters! they said it would be better to pick her up there.. when I arrived to get her she was carried out in a sheet..made into a gurney..they carried her out and DUMPED her into my SUV..They NEVER gave me an explanation of what happened to my baby girl. *She passed away 2 days later. The autopsy showed no disease..no cancer/or any other reason for her to pass away. They did suggest that it might have been an overdose given to her during her time there. *This has not been verified due to her cremation before we had a chance to do the toxicology screen. All I can say is that SHE WALKED IN , BUT CAME OUT HALF DEAD ON A GURNEY..She was hardly even able to focus..She started shutting down that moment and NEVER CAME BACK. ?
