I went to this AT&T store to enquire about trading in a phone of mine for their promotional $800 credit. They ended up defrauding me and changing this to a $9 credit after I sent my phone in.I had an in-store rep inspect the phone and ensure it was eligible for this promotional credit.I had them verify, several times, that this phone would be eligible without question.I did the same talking with an AT&T rep on the phone. They checked the phone, checked the IMEI, and made 100% sure the phone had no lock on it and was eligible for trade-in.Despite all of this, after sending my phone into AT&T and purchasing a new Galaxy S23, I got a notification a couple of months later stating that the phone was no longer eligible.This was after having an in-person review and having an AT&T representative on the phone verify everything. This was after AT&T initially confirmed the trade-in and said everything was in order.After all of this, AT&T fraudulently told me that my trade-in was invalidated because the phone had an activation lock on it.I explained to AT&T that this was impossible, as I bought this phone unlocked off Amazon. It was never contracted to a carrier. It NEVER had an activation lock on it.After I proved this to them, they changed the story to "it is because your phone didn't meet the minimum value required".I explained that this was an absolute lie, as I had multiple AT&T employees verify the phone met all the requirements.After speaking to another support rep, they changed the story AGAIN stating it wasn't because of either of those. This time it was because I had a PIN lock on the phone I sent in.This is also a lie. I showed the rep photo evidence demonstrating the phone was factory reset immediately before it was placed into the box for shipping.They essentially just told me "too bad, that's what our system says so there's nothing we'll do to change it."The fact that they can't even keep their story straight on why they rejected the device I believe demonstrates clearly that this is an act of fraud, and AT&T is deliberately stealing your devices before locking you into a contract for the full value of a phone you purchased.I STRONGLY advise avoiding this store or AT&T in general. I am looking at consulting an attorney to see if there is any case I can bring against this store or AT&T in general for their part in this scam.

I recently switched from Verizon to AT&T and doing so we had issues with our numbers being ported in, Shawn took the time to fix the issue for us and helped me tremendously with all of my technical needs!Great customer service/ management, thank you!

Switched from Verizon to at&t. Been with Verizon my whole life since before a iPhone was a thing. Too expensive for no service. Going to ATT was the best thing I ever did. Guy that got me switched over was friendly and explained everything that was gonna happen and that did happen. Glad I went

Shawn was great ! Not only did he help with finding us great deals but he explained everything from first bill payments to credits. Got us with new phones and watches in less than two hours, considering that old phone company wouldn’t give us the pin to our account that we had already paid for. I’m sure without the old phone company hindering us, we would’ve been done in less an an hour. Shawn was great helped us every step of the way and was very professional. Great deals and way better than other cell phone companies I have ever had. Very pleased and appreciate the fast and reliable service !
