I'm sharing with you a warning about Lowes in Asheboro, NC. We drove there to purchase advertised "Kobalt 24v 2 pack Lithium-ion Battery plus charger. Purchase this and receive a free tool. At store associate advised us they were out and could not get any. He stated no raincheck. I asked why the sign was still posted? He stated that Corporate Personnel would not allow the posted advertisement to be taken down even though they did not and could not honor the advertised item. Store is displaying a FALSE advertisement and refused to correct their FALSEHOOD. Shame on you. After contacting Customer Care spoke with Associate Tammy, she stated once she submitted the case that someone from the Asheboro Store would be contacting me within 24 hours. As of 72 hours later no one has contacted me. I called the Customer Care and spoke with another associate and voice my concern that no one has contacted me. Destiny stated there was nothing else they could do. Poor Service.

I'm sharing with you a warning about Lowes in Asheboro, NC. I bought a hot water heater which overheated. I followed the directions in the manual that says call manufacturer. I was given a parts number for new elements. Had them put in. Overheated again. At this point I'm at about $1000 in on just labor. I went through the manufacturer process of returning it as defective. I was told at the store that the only way to refund the money was on a gift card. What? I paid by CC. I don't need $500 on a gift card. I nicely argued with the associate and requested the manager. He tells me there is no other way to get my money back except on a gift card. I called corporate while still at the store. They said each Lowes makes their own policies but that I should review the return policy which I did. After reviewing it I showed it to the manager. He said there is no other way than a gift card. I pointed out that no where under hot water heater returns does it say gift card. It is refunded to the original form of payment. He said no. I said lawyer. Suddenly with ONE key stroke it goes back on my credit card. I said all this wasted time when he could have just done it right the first time. He say "Yep" DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE BULLIED!

This Lowes needs improvement. I have visited this location a couple times and they seem to want to misdirect the customer to someone who has no knowledge of what I was asking help with.
First I asked for someone that can help me with questions reference an accessory for an appliance and they sent me to see this individual and this person says they don't know anything on the subject.
The second visit, today, I go ask for information and was sent to see Sandy who was supposed to be the expert on electrical issues in Isle 4. I go to isle 4 and she is walking away from the isle helping someone else after she was told I was coming to her section. Finally after waiting 10 minutes for what was supposed to be my time, she says she doesn't know anything about electricity.
This is very concerning to me being misdirected.

We bought a Craftsman chain saw the last day of March used it for one hour and since then it will not start.took it back and they will not exchange it or give a refund. They told us to call an 800 number, so we did that number ransferred us to another number and that number will not answer the phone. We have called several times and they put us on hold for 45 minutes to an hour every time we call and we still have not got the issue resolved. I just want to say Lowe's home improvement. In Asheboro North Carolina has the worst customer service I've ever seen. We will never shop there again.

Expensive prices, if you need help loading anything in your vehicle or trailer, "GOOD LUCK ",the young help,they have there are worthless, You can find most of them on their cellphone, I prefer Lowes in Lexington, they will help you there

Pick-up service was beyond lacking. Rode with my sister-in-law to pick up n online order. Checked in through the app, but there was no response. She checked in at the customer service desk and was told their system crashed; however, they would get someone on the way. Unfortunately, we had to leave without anyone ever coming out to load her purchase. I have used Lowes pick up at several locations around the southeast. This was, by far, the worst pick-up experience to date.

I thought this was a hardware store. This particular Lowe's is terrible at stocking the basics. And if they did have it, it's not stocked or sitting on the overstock shelf. The employees deserve a better star rating, The majority of the employees are helpful and they earned the stars. Bottom line is, I'm tired of looking for something that isn't there, and then have to drive another 30 or so minutes just for a basic part.
