Came into make some returns from Amazon. I was met with a very rude staples worker at the door stating the store did not open for another hour and asked where I got that they opened at 8 am from with an attitude. I stated from searching staples on google. Again with an attitude, the worker stated that, “well google is always wrong.” I was wrong on the time, but the attitude given wasn’t needed or necessary. Another customer thought the time was 8 am and asked me (walking back to my car) if they weren’t accepting items for shipping anymore. I stated “they don’t open until 9 am.” The worker was still standing at the door making comments. I didn’t fully hear the comments because again, I was walking back to my car. I was simply coming to ship something’s off and I had to deal with someone who seemed to be irritated they had to come in and work or explain their times.
This is not the first time I’ve dealt with rude or just unfriendly staples workers but I tried to over look it. No one even says hello most of the time when you walk in and when you ask for help it just seems to be a bother to most of them.
I understand this statement companies may laugh at because there will always be someone returning to their store, but I will not be returning to staples anymore. And by the looks of the overall rating and other comments stating similar things, I think it’s time for this company to take a look at how and who is running the store.

First time using the in-person, 1.hour printing service! Although there was some miscommunication at first, the staff was so helpful and quick to get me all set! Shout out to Rob for his expertise and service!

Shopping here is fine. They usually have what I’m looking for and the employees are helpful and friendly. Amazon returns are quick and easy. What I find frustrating about this location is that they’re pushing the self serve stations for printing. I needed something larger printed and intended to request lamination. They were busy and asked what I needed and as I held up my thumb drive to tell them, they directed me over to the self serve area and moved on to the next customer. The self serve station automatically charges you to log in, then charges per print job, and I would have had to get back in line for lamination. Had they just taken five seconds to listen to me before telling me what to do, I’d have had what I needed and they would have had a decent sale and a better review. I got charged for something I didn’t want and have to do it all over again now, but I’m going somewhere else next time I have the opportunity to get out to do it. Customer service is about listening to the customer, Staples.

Yeah, I don’t love this Staples. I come in here all the time for Amazon returns and UPS drop offs. Occasionally I’m met by a super sweet girl who’s overworked, and one guy who is also kind and doing the job of two or three people. But most often, I encounter men who act like it’s an inconvenience that I have walked into their presence. Who knows, maybe they’re overworked too and that’s how they deal with it. But I didn’t cause their problems ??♀️ I wish there was another option for Amazon returns, because I likely would find another place to take my UPS packages.
