Thomas Tire is the only place I go to have work done on my vehicles! From an oil change to replacing a timing belt, they get the job done well. They have always been honest about the work needing to be completed and if necessary, take days to do the work right instead of a rushed job.

We were on vacation in the area from another state and had a an emergency front brake issue on a Friday afternoon. We got the same referral to come to this shop from 2 different sources.Thomas Automotive worked us in and fixed the brake issues on our KIA Sedona and had us out the door and on our way in about an hour and a half. On a Friday! True lifesavers! This group of ladies were able to continue our long weekend vacation and drive SAFELY back home.Thank you Thomas Automotive! Excellent customer service and excellent price for the service and repairs we needed!Highly recommend!

Brought my daughter in laws car in on Monday at about 420. We were told they didn't have time to look at it before they closed, but if we left it there, they would check it out the next morning. We understood and left the car. By 430 the next day, they still hadn't looked at it. We picked the car up and took it somewhere else.

Just moved into the area and was referred to Thomas Tire, everything was great from time I was greeted by Debby until I the time I picked it up for an oil change. The price, time and service were excellent and I’ll be back when it’s service time or earlier if needed. Thanks again, Gary Teeter

These are the only mechanics that I trust with my vehicle. I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of. The customer service is great and the prices are too

Thomas Tire worked me in to get tires because of an emergency. Zach sold me exactly what I needed, nothing more and nothing less. My vehicle was ready on time, as promised. I know I can count on reliable tires and stellar service at Thomas Tire. I am proud to support this Randolph County Company!

My tire blew right before the exit. Someone helped me put my doughnut on only to find that it was also flat(it was brand new and never used, he car is 5 years old) I went to the Exxon across the street from your location and walked over. Your team members were some of the nicest men I have ever met. One followed me back to my car and drove it over to the shop for me. They sent someone to pick up the tire I needed from the warehouse, changed the tire and waited for my husband to get there. They closed at 5pm and I walked in at 4:55. I can not thank them all enough and we will for sure be bringing our cars to y’all from now on. We live in Cheraw SC but my daughter lives in Winston Salem, I go see her once a week so I will rotate what car I take as services are needed. Again I can not say thank you enough.

I have used Thomas Tire for more than 20 years for services on 7 different vehicles and have spent in the neighborhood of $25,000. For the first few years I used them, the service was superb. Unfortunately Mr. Thomas passed away. After that, both service and expertise has gradually eroded. The business may still be family owned, but it is clearly not family operated, and it shows. There are significant, severe disjoints between the customer service front office staff and the mechanics.I took my truck there to be service on Friday, July 7th, dropping it off so that service could begin first thing the next Monday. I asked for 2 specific services to be address, and asked for diagnostics to be performed on whatever had made my “check engine” light energize. I asked that I be contacted with the diagnostic results so that I everything done that needed done in one visit. Unfortunately, I received no further communication from them until Tuesday, July 11th, when I received a text informing that my vehicle was ready. Upon arrival, I was immediately asked for payment, which I provided. Afterward I was handed the $1300 paid invoice, including the $125 diagnostic fee. I was told the fee was for diagnosing the two items that I had told them to perform. (I cannot make this up). After begging to differ, and after a lot of tapdancing by the front office staff, I was finally provided an explanation of the diagnostic fee, and was given an UPDATED invoice to reflect the finding. So, bottom line, I left Thomas Tire with the ‘check engine” light still energized. Attached is a photo that indicates that state in which they left the passenger compartment after replacing a blower motor. This was not a pleasant experience. Later, I called Thomas Tire and asked to speak with the manager but he is apparently hiding behind his voice mail and has not returned my call.If this episode was an isolated one, I would overlook the entire thing as a one-off. Unfortunately this episode has been one of many over the last 8 years or so. Once I made a Saturday appointment (back when the actually worked on Saturday instead of bankers hours) for a part replacement, dropped it off first thing that morning, only to be called an hour later and informed they had failed to order the part. On at least two occasions, with separate vehicles in for routine tire and alignment maintenance, I asked that my brake pads be checked and was told they were fine only to be returning 6-8 weeks later for new brake pads and turned rotors. So, it is time to fire them and find a capable, competent vendor for my automotive needs. My wife fired them several years ago. Unfortunately, I should have taken her advice instead of hanging in there with this business relationship.

Being new to the state, my first experience with Thomas Tire and Automotive in Asheboro was a very pleasant one. It's refreshing these days to see a business that is managed so well (clean, professional, with courteous customer service...). My appointment time was honored promptly, and service was completed in short order. Hope to see you again for future auto service needs. Thanks, and God bless!

Stopped by today after hearing a noise like thumping in a rear tire on my Corvette. Thought I may have a lug nut loose. They don’t do cars, but immediately checked torque on each wheel. Excellent service!

My vehicle required a state inspection. I did not have an appointment. I arrived at opening, 8 AM. The service was completed and I was on my way to my next appointment by 8:40 AM. I was very pleased.
