I recently had the oil changed in my SUV. It was skeptical about having it done at Walmart. I don't know why I thought it would be a bad experience, but I needed to go on a trip and was desperate. I was very pleased with their service. They were thorough and efficient. I walked around in the store and was texted when my vehicle was ready. The price was right and the service was too. In the future I will bring both of our vehicles to Walmart for servicing.

I was searching for a replacement coffee set. The extremely rude employee, Hayleigh decided to not only harass but berate me for taking the coffee machine set out of the packaging to look at it. Claiming "people" damage them. Sounds racist to me. This is ridiculous and I'll be damned if they get my service again.

One star is way too many. Customer Service is no service at all. Don't bother shopping with your family if they happen to need the same item as you do. My sister and I both run individual businesses in unrelated industries and also in different states (I was only visiting from out of state for a short time while running my business remotely). We both happened to need to purchase gift cards, but because we were together, mind you NOT using the same account and NOT using accounts drawn from the same bank, they would not allow us to purchase the total quantity of 4 gift cards as individual purchases of 2 each, because we were related (yes we look very much alike). We were denied purchasing what we needed to in order to run our businesses! They had not understood the request and were essentially accusing us of committing fraud and running some scam. They actually said, "We know what you're trying to do."The manager, Jonathan, came over, and rather than listening to the actual events, stated that despite what we, the customers, said he was going to stand by the decision of the employees.

Pretty standard Walmart here. Lots of products with decent price tags. With that being said, this Walmart definitely offers some of the best people watching you could ever imagine. This location seems to stay busy all the time no matter the time of day. Located right off highway 64 with easy access from the stoplight.

II would not recommend the grocery pick up at the Asheboro location. Placing the order online was the only good part of the process. Everything else was bad. I do not live near this location, but work a few miles out and they had the cookies I wanted to try, so I decided to go after work. First, I went to pick up my order while I was in Asheboro, but not near the store. I called and received a recording about closing for Christmas. I went into the store and located the kiosk, scanned my bar code and waited. I tried to ask the lady that was handling self-checkout about how long it would be after I and another lady had been waiting (I had been over ten minutes) as the instructions stated. She turned her back to us. Then, we noticed the small television above us with the hours listed (8-8). This was not stated in any emails or on the signage that was more prominent. So, I had to return.I returned the following day during my lunch break and received my order after waiting about seven minutes. The bags were tied and they handed them to me through the open window and I left. I brought the bags home that evening and I received one bag of taped up, slit open cookies. There were two gaping cuts that were not even covered. I was not pleased with this at all and called to let them know I would not accept them and expected an exchange. The woman on the phone asked if I wanted a refund or exchange and I explained I wanted the same cookies and read the name of them to her. She assured me that I would have the cookies waiting for me within the hour, but I told her I would not be coming until the following day after work.I went to pick up my cookies, returning the ones that were defective. I waited seven minutes after calling to have someone come and tell me that they did not have the exact type of cookies, but could substitute them or receive a refund. I did not want to wait for a refund, so I substituted them for a bag of cookies that would have cost me less. I had to wait another six minutes for them to bring them out to me. This experience wasted a lot of my time and gas and most were not even nice. (The one girl who came out to tell me that they did not have the cookie type in stock was nice and even apologetic, but she was the only one who had any customer service skills.) I was definitely NOT pleased with this. I do have a recommendation, for anyone living near Thomasville. I have used this service there several times and they are always polite - and even though they never messed up on my order, when they made substitutions that I had allowed, they used items that cost more for no extra cost. They are also super quick - I have never waited over five minutes there. So, not all Wal-Mart stores are bad. I have not had many good experiences with the Asheboro store and usually avoid it, if possible. I thought that the pick-up would be different, but obviously not. (In Asheboro, Lowes Foods To Go in Asheboro is awesome! They are fast, friendly, and almost always throw in a little something extra.)Bottom line: If you order pick up from the Asheboro Wal-Mart location, check your items BEFORE you leave.

This story is a contamination zone for COVID. This business does NOT enforce their customers or employees to require mask coverings. The state requires mask coverings at this time.

It says it opens at 9am. I’m here at 10:25 after a text saying my order is ready this morning at 8:00 and it’s still not done.

I saw a few reviews that were really negative about this Wal-Mart and was surprised. I'm not originally from this area and I have always gone to Target and avoided Wal-Mart but since Wal-Mart is the only game in town in Asheboro I was forced to go. I was pleasantly surprised because the ones back home were extremely trashy. This one seemed okay and had everything I was looking for. Also each time I asked an associate for help they were more than happy to help. In fact, one associate was kind enough to walk me around to several aisles to help me get exactly what i needed. The lines have never been long and it doesn't seem dirty or trashy to me. I'm not giving it 5 stars because it's still Wal-Mart and if Target came to town tomorrow, I'd happily make the switch. But I felt compelled to write a review based on The more recent review because that just hasn't been my experience.

NOT SAFE. Grimy. Trashy. Creepy employees. Worst Walmart I've ever been in, and I've been in Walmart's in over 16 US states!

First, i am NOT the crazy coupon lady but I did have two .25 cent coupons for paper towels this morning at the Asheboro Walmart. The cashier would only accept one of the coupons because she said the coupon states "one coupon per transaction" and it is "store policy" and it has always been that way. It's not like i was trying to come through the line with several cart loads of towels and using hundreds of coupons. At home I read the coupon and it states "one coupon per purchase of product". Notice "per product", not "transaction". I already shop Food Lion trying to stay out of Walmart so I guess I will now use Family Dollar for my paper and cleaning products. They don't mind me using a couple of coupons.

I ordered a special designed 16 oz coffee mug for my wife, who LOVES coffee, for Christmas. It had a special note which was supposed to be printed on it, her name, and a special picture. She wanted a certain mug from Starbucks, but when I saw this mug on Walmart Photo Center, I KNEW she would LOVE this one better. I ordered it online on the 18th of December, plenty of time to get it to me before Christmas. I received an email from Walmart Photo saying it WOULD be to me by the 24th of December. I was thrilled, knowing how my wife would react when opening the package. Midnight came and went. I was now in to Christmas Day. I went online and tracked the package. The site said it would be to me on the 27th. I had NO notification from Walmart Photo of anything out of the ordinary, nor that there was a delay. I contacted Customer Care. I received a reply from "Josh T." which said it was probably delayed or lost. REALLY? I hadn't thought of that... sigh. It seemed like Josh was cutting and pasting verbiage commonly used in replies. In other words, he told me nothing I didn't already know. So much for Customer "Care". How about, "We will find out what has happened and get back to you." Or how about, "We are so sorry. How about a gift certificate." OR, any one of about a thousand responses other than, "Let us know what you want to do if you don't get it." I gave it two stars only because I had ordered some Canvas Pictures, which were done correctly and delivered on time. This present was very special, and for my wife.

my husband and I shop at Asheboro Walmart all the time, cause it's closer to our house. I have no problem with the Asheboro Walmart. I find every thing I need on my own. I always use the self check out registers there. although today we looked for about 5 or 10 minutes for men's socks. yes they need to go around the store and pick up items off the floors and place them back on the shelves. sometimes when I see things laying on the floor while im shopping , I pick them up and place them back on the shelf. now the shelves where the packs of men's socks were a little messy and packs of socks were laying on the floor which I was nice enough and picked them up and placed them back on the shelf. oh one thing is that when parents have their children with them while shopping , they need to watch their kids, cause I have seen kids running through the aisles and knocking things off the shelves, or playing with toys and not putting them back on the shelf , they just leave toys all over the floor. or their kids would run through the part of the store where their parents are and start playing with the cameras, the cellphones and other electronics and set off the alarms
