I have tried all the other vets in Asheville and after a careful search, I have chosen All Pets to be my vet. They are kind, caring with me and all of my pets. I’ve been with them for 7 years now and appreciate the dedication to the animals, the equipment on site and the options for rehabilitation.

Great vet office. Love the communication, hours, and how quickly we’re able to get appointments.

I felt like the dr was thorough and listened to my concerns. He was willing to use the least invasive techniques which included monitoring her to see if she needs antibiotics and X-rays (we were in for a possible UTI and she ate tampons) rather than just prescribing. I always feel like my pup and I are in good hands at All Pets. Thanks yall! The care is very thorough but not excessive. I appreciate how well the staff communicates we me to make sure all my concerns are addressed and that I understand.

I just moved to Asheville and this was the best vet visit my difficult dog and I have had in 6 years for both of us. I so appreciate how kind and accommodating everyone was! The staff was fantastic. My dog usually struggles and uses the bathroom in a panic during vet visits. The vet was able to read my dog and took her into a bigger room without me where she let her give her shots somehow without struggle. I would recommend them over and over again!

The staff is compassionate and caring. The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. The kindness the staff showed to me over my grieving of my elderly dog not doing well was very comforting. Thank you so much.

Recommended by my vet. Took time to do a thorough exam. Dr. Grant discussed treatment and potential costs down the line. Clean and professional ambience.

All Pets has been a complete savior to our family. Our sweet elder dog, Luna, injured her right ACL this past June while we were on a family holiday in Florida. A week later when we returned to Asheville she busted her other ACL. Luna was completely imobile with both of her back legs unable to support her weight. I cried almost every morning when I realized that this situation was not a nightmare but was instead our new reality. We were told that surgery was her only option at the emergency vet and at our local vet; considering that sweet Luna is 13 years old, has a heart murmur, surgery was not an option. Moreover, she had two torn ACLs and the ACL surgery was rarely done on both legs at the same time. Not to mention that the healing process was indeed a painful and long recovery. I felt so extremely sad and hopeless to the point that I was even thinking of euthanasia. I called around to all the rehab centers near and far. When I called All Pets, the staff was so compassionate and willing to help. They referred me to Tammy who is coined as "the rehab lady". Tammy talked to me for about 20 minutes, sharing with me what they could offer and she gave us tips for making a strap so we could "walk" Luna to go to the bathroom. Immediately after talking with Tammy my heart filled up with hope for the first time. We could not start PT immediately because Luna had been on so many different meds that her stomach was a hot mess and she did not have a steady appetite, she suffered from diarrhea and nassau. With the help of Dr. Williamson the first step was to manage her pain. A few weeks later Tammy was able to finally start treatment consisting of a combination of laser,Tammy's magic fingers aka massage and PT. Luna first balanced on a peanut shaped ball slowly letting her start to put weight on her back legs, then we moved on to a wobbly disk then a bigger peanut. Tammy taught us how to support Luna at home with massage and flexion and extension of her legs, applying Toe Grips (for traction), and balancing on a peanut ball we bought for her. I remember when Tammy told us "Luna has to use what she has got", I returned the wheelchair, back assisted harness and cloth braces and stuck with my homemade strap. Four months later and her PT consists of doing 30 minutes of an obstacle course where she steps up and down structures, goes around cones and up a ramp followed by 30 minutes of laser and massage. It has been amazing to see her grow in strength. Everyday we feel so blessed to have another day with our girl. Luna continues to make progress! At first Luna was seeing Tammy twice a week and that went on for roughly 2 months, now she goes once a week. I am happy to say that the 4.5 months of treatment has paid off. Luna is a walking dog- although she will never be the same as before the accident she can move around independently around the house, take walks around the yard and relieve herself independently. I can't express the joy we felt the first time she stopped to sniff the grass and did other regular dog stuff like play with her toys that she ignored for months. She goes for rides in her wagon and can walk about 50 feet without needing a rest. Our lives have forever changed and we are SO very grateful for all the staff at All Pets, especially the angel Tammy. I am in tears writing this as I relive this experience. Luna has taught us so much- her strength and perseverance is so inspirational. We hope that sharing our journey will help others navigate through this rollercoaster of a ride. Thank you All Pets- seriously words can not express the gratitude we hold for you.

OOOOOF. I've been putting off writing this review because honestly, I don't know where to begin. Our regular vet thought our baby girl Midnight needed surgery right away. After calling several nearby hospitals for availability, we rushed her to All Pets to be seen by their surgery specialists. Let me break it down for you. We first took her in on Tuesday. They felt a lump on one of her mammary glands, gave us some literature on what that could mean, did an x-ray to make sure nothing visible had spread to her chest (it hadn't, thankfully!), and scheduled us for surgery later that week. While the news itself was devastating, the appointment itself was handled very well and we appreciate the vet we saw that day. Midnight went into surgery on a Thursday. One of the hardest days of my life. We picked her up end-of-day. The surgeon did an excellent job with the surgery itself, but had like zero bedside manner, it felt like we couldn't ask questions; we were just part of an assembly line. In and out. (I was bawling and clearly an emotional wreck, but the vet just didn't seem to especially care). I call All Pets early Saturday morning, because Midnight isn't eating and I'm anxious. No answer. (We were told on Thursday that they will 100% return all phone calls within the same day, if we are having any issues. Nope). Thank goodness my regular vet is a saint; I call and get Midnight's eating sorted out. I never get a call back from All Pets on that issue. Moving on.... We were told that it could take up to 10 days to hear back with the results on "is-it-cancer." The following Monday, our vet reaches out to the hospital and is told they have the results (and had received them Friday morning), so our vet encouraged us to call. We do and leave a message (since it was the only option short of selecting that we were having an emergency). Do we hear from them? Nope. We got a text right at 5, saying that our doctor was gone for the day, but they'd send a message to call us tomorrow (reminder, they had had the results since the beginning of the day on Friday). I call Tuesday morning, leave a message. Do I get a call back? Nope. Our regular vet calls midday Tuesday, asks them for WHY are they holding our emotions hostage (because our lives had basically been on hold since all of this started), and tells them to get on the phone and CALL ALREADY because it's been FOUR DAYS. The front office apparently says something to the lines of, "oh yes, I see the owner has called multiple times". Yeah, no shit. We finally get a call at the end of the day on Tuesday. We talk briefly, she clearly wants to get off the phone and really not be there for us while we get this life-changing news (according to my phone records it was a 6 minute conversation). At the end of the call, we had the news that it was cancer, but we really weren't given any information on what that means, how serious or treatable it is, or anything like that. Lots of very technical terms without explanation. The only reason we had any sense of what to do next or how to process the information was because our regular vet helped us walk through everything after. The good: -they were able to see us quickly when other vets couldn't -the surgeon did an excellent job. She really, really did and our girl is currently doing well thanks to them. -the building is clean The not so good: -the lack of bedside manner. I was an emotional mess and felt like I was being rushed along. The AWFUL: -the communication. Between my husband and I, we called again and again and again, and left SO many messages. My regular vet had to get involved to encourage them to actually communicate anything. Long story short - I would not recommend All Pets for your fur baby needs. They did good work, but they didn't seem to actually *care* about my girl.

I felt that all my questions and concerns were listened to and taken seriously. I feel that my dog is in excellent care here and that my values for natural care factor in to the recommendations from the vet. Something significant that my former vet missed was spotted and treated during my first visit to All Pets, and I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Cook and his team! They are wonderful.

Everyone connected to all pets from the minute you telephone for an appointment to the instant you check out is always knowledgeable, compassionate, gentle and seemingly genuine about caring for our pets. Compassion shown will be your favorite thing about All Pets.

First time visit. Liked the no rush approach and engagement with our GSD Sami. Took time to explain underlying issues and treatment options. Was very gentle and patient when engaging with Sami who responded well.
