“Batton Clayworks is must-do when visiting Asheville! We found Batton Clayworks private pottery lesson in a quick Google search and it ended up being the highlight of our trip! Sandy and Anne were both friendly and welcoming. Throughout our lesson, Sandy was patient and kind. We came in with a curious spirit and left with an appreciation for their incredible artistry. Overall we had a playful time and enjoyed making pottery!”

“Everyone talks about the customer service and associates being terrible…I strongly feels it takes two to tango. The customers can be insufferable (as someone who stood in line for a long time simply observing) I got a little attitude from the cashier until I showed some compassion for them havjng to deal with the general public all day. They immediately smiled and the energy was great. If you’re a nice customer, you’ll probably get good help.”

“Fantastic art store! Much bigger than it looks from the outside. I'm glad I stopped in. Found a really nice sketchbook. They have everything here for making your own canvas, lots of different papers, everything you could really want as an artist. And the people are nice too.”
