Clean, pleasant facilities. Upbeat and challenging classes. Childcare. Indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub and steam room. All at a reasonable price. No other secular gym with an indoor pool can touch this. Love that it also gives access to two locations. I wish there were more locations.

we went today to play tennis, drove 30 minutes and made a reservation. all was perfect and we had asked to borrow a demo racquet the lady Lindsay said sure and 30 seconds later she said she couldn't find a key. what?? instead of continuing to look or do anything she said sorry cant help ya. no asking of other employees maybe a tennis staff member. just confused how theres an entire wall of racquets but not one key for it. just a little sad...

This "racquet" club forces individual members who are only interested in tennis to also pay for pool, golf, fitness center, and childcare access. $129 a month plus additional fees just to have court access is absurd. I guess they only want to see a certain inco.e bracket on their courts.

Excellent tennis facility. They have large number of outdoor courts and have indoor tennis courts too. The lounge social area is great inside. Came here because of a usta tennis tournament which was well organized by their staff. Over all one of the best tennis facility in this region.

The Racquet Club saves our winters! We love the ARC in summer, but we REALLY enjoy it during the long, cold winters in Asheville. It’s easy to forget it’s chilly outside when all 3 kiddos are busy swimming in the indoor heated pool.

Terrible experience. Was told the pool would be open until 9 so we structured our evening in town around that, only to show up at 7:30 and he refused to let us in for “insurance reasons”. Very frustrating. Honestly our whole stay at the resort has been far less than we hoped for.

This is a very unresponsible group. They refused to wear masks indoors when Covid was at its peak. And you can't complain or you will be barred from the club. The management is deplorable and I gave them years of dues money for poor treatment.

AGE DISCRIMINATION!One thing I really don't like is that they cut off the student discount at age 25. I am currently enrolled in a masters degree program where they recommend you do not work to focus on school, so us students are on a budget for sure. One of my fellow classmates introduced me to this gym, and we wanted to sign up but since she is 26, they would not let her get the student discount. This is ensuring that I also will not sign up, even though I am under 25, as I think that is totally not fair! Before we found out that she cannot get the student discount, we came in on a guest pass to check out the gym. I wasn't a huge fan. For the price they charge I expected better. The basic membership is $50 a month. I do like that they have group fitness classes as well as a pool. I'd say this is worth it if you really enjoy the racquetball and tennis facilities they have, otherwise just go to any other gym that would be cheaper.

I use this location solely for the gym and the gym isn’t the best. Missing a lot of machines I would consider staples in a gym and the energy levels are very low and not motivating. Usually not many people though so you don’t need to wait for weights/benches or be around a lot of people.

Always such a pleasure to come here! Chloe and Jared were so nice to me the other night with my guest pass and he went out of his way to spend a few minutes talking and getting to know me. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to join. The front desk staff was wonderful to me

There was an issue with the inside pool at the downtown site. The only reason I belonged. There has been very little communication on when it would reopen There has been no offer to compensate us for the loss of the heated pool.

Super nice gym. Everyone is friendly and it's never too busy

I had really high hopes for this gym. I joined for the pool because I was told it's a salt water pool. However there is definitely still chlorine in the water and wasn't 100% salt water. This place puts on a good front, but it was really very disappointing. That facility is being knocked down in 2 years for the 240/26 extension. So they're basically letting the whole place fall apart until they build their new facility. The pool was totally shut down for weeks, the sauna room was periodically working and the laundry facility was constantly shut down so the towel service was not available. In addition to that, for lap swimming they have a lane reservation system and I could never get a lane during the times that I needed. If I tried to show up during a time when I couldn't get a lane reservation it was always so packed that I couldn't swim laps. The pool did not seem to be cleaned regularly enough. The hotel next door allows people to come to the gym and use the pool. After a busy weekend there was gross hair and used Band-Aids floating in the bottom of the pool. The showers felt kind of gross. On top of all this, I had forgotten my gym bag there and when I went to go back to get it they couldn't find it. After calling back several times about it and talking to different people no one was able to find it and they eventually told me that it was gone. This place is really poorly run, no one seems to be in charge and I would definitely not recommend it for the pool. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience here and definitely would not recommend this facility to anybody. Big thumbs down.

Great facility! Great indoor/outdoor pickleball courts. Cinyu, the pro was especially helpful. Highly recommend!
