About Asheville Tool Library
The Asheville Tool Library is a great community resource and fantastic concept, providing good tools for people to use for a short time. It has a great inventory and wonderful, helpful, friendly, and down-to-earth volunteers. The almost entirely volunteer staff is amazing, informative, and always willing to work with members. It is a pure joy to work with people who actually care. The yearly membership is definitely worth it for any DIY'er doing repairs, as renting a tool even once a year makes it a no-brainer. The inventory list can be viewed by non-members. The new location has a very narrow drive without room to pass.
