After three failed attempts at other dealers I drove 3 hours away to get a vehicle from Benchmark! Worth the drive is all I'll say! I called about the vehicle I wanted and was able to complete most of the process over the phone with John. I was skeptical at first but I was assured this would be a smooth process! Got there and for sure drove away in the car I wanted! Chrissy was also amazing explaining the fine print and making sure every question I had was answered! I would definitely recommend them to any and every one!

I just want to say I had the most effortless experience with everyone @Benchmark. John& Eddie took such great care of me. Just knowing that I was coming to look@a Toyota that didn't have a rear view mirror. John took time out the day before to make sure he went&got 1 so I would have it. I don't remember the super nice ladies name that went over my paperwork &I'm sorry about that. But everyone was super nice&it was just an awesome experience. Thank you so much.❤️??

Buying a car from Benchmark was incredible. They all were very outgoing and efficient with any questions or tests drives I had in mind.I did have a mishap the second day having it but they got me right into the shop and fixed the problem for me. I really appreciated this because I didn't have another car to drive. If I had any more problems to give them a call and they would look at it for me. It has been okay since! I love my little jeep and can't wait to try out the 4x4 in the snow so I can make it to work! Eddie the salesperson that helped me with the sale for the car was very outgoing!! real people person loved it! Extremely nice as well! Gave me hope for the future and I really appreciate that!!! Thank you so much to Benchmark me and my son get around safely now!Have a blessed wonderful day ❤️

This is such an amazing group to work with . I’ve leased two different vehicles with them over the years and I can’t say enough about how amazing they all really truly are. Everyone from Eddie in sales department and the two lovely ladies in the office to the all of the gentleman who graciously assisted me in putting a temporary and permanent tag on the vehicle to the absolutely precious older gentleman in the service center who really went above and beyond in replacing sensors in all 5 tires to make sure the vehicle was safe and operating properly. They are all just darling. This group made the process of leasing and servicing my vehicles effortless, timely and with ease. They are friendly and demonstrate a high level of southern hospitality that is such a lost art in today’s society and yet that is so appreciated. It’s what truly sets them apart from the rest. It was that wonderful warm hospitality that made me lease a 2nd vehicle with them . Since my experience, I’ve told several friends and co workers about them and how well they were with me and I highly recommend them.

The salesman was great very helpful, patience, took time to answer all my questions and concerns; he was not pushy at all, wasn’t in no hurry took his time to help me out. Which was greatly appreciated. The only thing I do not like is, after having my car only two weeks I got a text message saying I needed to make a payment. I was confused cause I just put 1900.00 down two weeks prior not expecting to have a payment until the following month. I called and was told that they expected you to be a month ahead on your payments. So needless to say that put me in a financial bind. The worse part is every two weeks they will text you everyday and hound you about your payment, even if you’re not behind.

Horrible place. They say they offer safe reliable cars to drive and that’s not true. I bought a Jeep from them not even a month ago and the catalytic converter is shot and the car is overheating. It’s the two things the warranty doesn’t cover and I would have known this about the car when I bought it but they turned the engine light off so it was hard to tell. Very shady company wouldn’t recommend it. I understand it’s a as is place but if you are making seem like nothing is wrong with the car how do I know what as it condition it’s in if you are unplugging the battery so the engine light won’t turn on……I forgot to mention, I know they turned off the engine light because the key was broke and that was one of the causes for the engine light and benchmark paid for me to get the key replaced the day I bought it so that’s how I know they knew the engine l light was on. If it’s as is I should have bought it with the engine light on

Shop with them, all makes and models reasonable down payments! I applied online and got qualified before I came in. I saw a vehicle on line I wanted which was cool but when I came in I decided to get something better. They were cool about it. Real Customer Real Review! Shop with em!

This place is a joke you cannot be late on 1 payment or they'll come and get your car! I made a partial payment and I went to go make the other half And they wouldn't let me make the payment because my new payment for the week had just came do that Same day at least it was supposed to be on Friday, but they Put it in wrong. Why would i set my paymentsu for the middle of the week? They did it on purpose so they can take peoples cars and resell it again because who can make 1 car payment plus a $200 tow bill plus more for everyday its there. This place or scammers! This place sucks! I had no choice but to buy from this horrible place because my credit is bad. I'm a single mom of 3 boys and just got out a 5 year abusive relationship and there Goin to take My car over 1 payment that's a week late. When I Thought the car it Blew, the cooling fan assembly, not even 3 weeks of having it. So

BROKEN PROMISES..BROKEN CARSIf you depend on a car to get to work or Drs Appointments, I would avoid this place. In November of 2021, I needed a vehicle that was safe and reliable for Drs appointments and work. I shopped around, did my research and settled on Benchmark because of their repair guarantee and free oil change. I know you take a risk when buying a used car but put my trust in this dealershipThe Jeep Liberty started overheating and making gurgling sounds just two weeks after I purchased it. I was told it would not be covered. I continued to make payments on it and drive it as little as possible as I liked the Jeep itself and wanted to eventually pay it off and keep as a weekend car. In May, it cut off going down a hill and requested their shop come tow it and repair it as I did not want to damage the motor.After keeping it for several weeks and no call back, I called and they said it was a coil spring or something connected to the engine but not covered so I would have to spend $400 and then they would see if that was the problem. I made several requests to their sales and service office by phone, text and email and no response what so ever each time.I took good care of the Jeep, no damage, made payments each month, was late by a few days on payments due to an illness but communicated and anyways got my payments in. I also put probably around 2000 miles on the Jeep the 18 months I had it because I was scared to drive it and unless necessary. They never fixed or returned the car and I am now out the $1700 deposit + $6624 in payments I had made on a vehicle that’s did not run properly from the start and warranty is about as good as the paper it’s printed on. Had I known this, I would have just gone to one of the subpar dealerships on Patton Ave and purchased a $5,999 vehicle instead of the $13,000 price at Benchmarks dealership.In summary definitely always read the fine print but don’t expect this dealership to stand by their warranty. Your probably better off going to Johnson City or Knoxville to a newer dealership as buying a car in Asheville is a joke for working class or families on a fixed income.

Overall a very wonderful experience. From Eddie and the ladies in the office all the way to the folks at the shop. Everyone has been extremely nice and very helpful.I bought a car a few days ago, noticed it had a minor issue and they fixed it free of charge. That's good business! That's how you keep business. I will definitely be getting another vehicle from them.Thanks y'all!
