Bent Creek River Park is a good little spot to relax, have a picnic, and walk the river bank. It is a great place for mountain biking and hiking, with a great view. The park provides picnic tables, benches, and grills along the water. It is noted as a perfect fall getaway with beautiful leaves. Parking can be busy, requiring visitors to fight for a spot on weekends, though it was plentiful on a Sunday. The area is dog-friendly for swimming. The trails and parking are shared with bikers and hikers.
Pretty area along the river. It's not a traditional park but more of a place to park and paddle launch. There's a hiking trail that goes under a bridge and you have to cross a large busy road to continue.
