“I called from across the country, looking for something specific that I couldn't find locally. Tim @ Trek Asheville made it super easy! I would recommend to anyone in the Asheville area to stop by, say hi and chat with them about your cycling needs.”

“Great customer support and technicians! We were in town mid-September and decided to upgrade our kids bikes to 27.5 which is a challenge due to their size. The staff went above and beyond helping with fit. We got to enjoy Bent Creek and even managed to smash up a derailleur which they helped to replace quickly so we could finish a great weekend on the trails!”

“Rented from Youngblood for a cycling trip in the area. Rental process was very smooth, and the shop had all the gels and maintenance parts we needed, as well as some killer deals on helmets and shoes. Additionally when one of the members of my group got a flat (because they hadn't replaced the on their personal bike in several years), the guys at Youngblood were kind enough to put on the new tires without charging any labor cost, saving us some time. Would highly recommend!”

“Best bike shop in Asheville. Took time to look at my bicycle and make some adjustments. Even went as far as to show me some ways to maintain the brakes etc. One shop I spoke with wanted to replace my brakes ?. I won't say who but they are on the same road.”

“So glad this place exists! Malcolm and Steven were super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with my new (used/rebuilt) bike and happy I was able to donate my old bike to the shop to further their cause of helping get kids out mountain biking who otherwise wouldn't be able to. Lots of bike parts available for cheap, like seats, clothing, accessories, etc. I will always check here first for any bike needs!”

“John has built two bikes for me. The first was a custom Parlee Z1 back in 2012 when John had a shop in Sylvania, Ohio and I had just moved to Michigan from San Francisco. The second was a custom Bingham Built all-road travel bike with couplers, which John put together for me in 2019 in Asheville and I flew out to pick up. (The story between the lines there is that it's worth flying half way across the country to have John build your bike). Both bikes are awesome. John is a one-of-a-kind builder. He knows all his suppliers on a first name basis--it's not Parlee, Bingham Built, René Herse, it's Bob, Brad, Jan. He cares about every detail of the bike almost obsessively and creates something perfectly suited to each rider. With 40,000 miles and 8,000 miles on my bikes respectively, both are still going strong. I'm biding my time until I can justify having him build another one for me. As he says on his site, why pay a ton for off the rack, when you can pay about the same and have a unique bike crafted just for you?”

“Gravelo Workshop did a great job tuning our bikes, which had been in storage for two years, and making them ride like new. I also got the perfect recommendation for a new saddle that has been much more comfortable on longer rides. When I had a minor shifting issue, I brought my bike back in and they fixed it on the spot. The guys at Gravelo are friendly, they provide quality service, and pricing is competitive - what more could you ask for. Oh, they have a coffee bar - there’s that.”

“I've taken my bike to Hearn's for almost 3 years. Clark & crew always provide top quality repairs, accessories, fair prices, etc. Best of all, I can count on getting the repairs done, nothing more and nothing less. In short they've earned my trust.”
