I visited Brother Wolf and found an absolutely amazing cat named Penne. He's smart, very active. Extremely cuddly and outgoing. What a happy little panther! He's brought much joy & laughter at his antics. The staff was outstanding and helpful. They really assisted me in making the right choice for a cat adoption . Thank you Brother Wolfe

Such a lovely experience with knowledgeable staff. Very quick process, was here less than an hour and walked out with a precious kitty. They also have a thrift /resale store and a massive selection of pet food, pet items, all at good prices! Highly recommend getting your next furry friend here. Adopt don’t shop!

I wanted a cat for what felt like forever! I finally decided to visit Brother Wolf Animal Rescue after my boss told me about her positive experience with the shelter when she adopted her cat. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I adopted not one cat, but TWO! I couldn’t say no. They were both from the same litter and they were the last to be adopted from their litter. I just took both of them for their first pet exam and both of my new babies are healthy! They said that Brother Wolf did an amazing job with their spay and neuter. I had such a positive experience working with Brother Wolf! The staff were so informative and professional. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and provided additional helpful information. Best decision I’ve ever made! My babies have settled into their new home and I absolutely love both of them with all of my heart. Meet Millie and Ollie! (Original names: Tomato and Potato)

Super helpful team of people who really care about their animals. They genuinely want to see each of their fur babies go to the right home.

My niece got her first pet as an adult a few weeks ago. They were so kind and really worked to make sure she found the cat she vibes best with. They also have a place where they sell supplies and cat toys. Wonderful experience!

An absolute shame of a company. We adopted a dog in December of 2020 after being told he was great with kids, crate trained, house trained, and good on a leash. Since then he has snapped at my 8 month old daughter, destroyed 2 different kinds of crates, carpet, and walls, has peed and pooped consistently in the house regardless of being walked or exercised, and being on a leash has been a nightmare as he is basically uncontrollable. This has been 2 years of us basically trying to train this dog (with a professional) to no avail. We just figured we’d cut our losses and return him after he snapped at my daughter. Brother wolf’s immediate response was euthanasia. They said he was considered aggressive and ‘probably wouldn’t be adopted.’ I think the dog just needs to find better home more appropriate for his needs. After more consideration, we decided to continue to keep him but then he destroyed the carpet in our new house so we called them back to surrender him and they straight up told my husband no because they don’t take dogs to put down even though they just said he would be euthanized less than a week ago? The humane society won’t take him until November and their next response was to take him to the vet to put him down?? You want us to pay to kill our dog? I understand he has behavioral issues but I feel death is a little extreme when he just need to find the right home. The fact that no one is on the same page really makes me wonder how many poor animals have been put down because they simply don’t want to take the time to find an animal the correct home. All of this could have been avoided had they not lied about the dog in the first place. It’s very sad and pathetic for a place to call themselves an animal rescue when their default is euthanasia.

Be careful about dogs you adopt from them. They like adopting out dogs that actually have loving homes and are not homeless. The refuse to file proper paperwork with the county or put up found dog info. They will just adopt the dog out. Then when the owner figures out they adopted their dog out, they refuse to get the dog back to the rightful owner.

Their response to possibly taking in a dog who snapped at a child is giving them death. As a steward of animals, not doing any intake or assessment of a dog and signing their death sentence is a terrible practice. Many good dogs do not enjoy children, they’re not bad dogs, they just have boundaries. I w been to plenty of shelters that explicitly state “not good with kids” but it doesn’t mean they’re a bad dog or going through stressful times themselves.Do better. I will not further support an organization that condones euthanasia of dogs, especially at a first offense.

I got my Annie there about 7 years ago as a 9 year old cat. She was the best and they were so so nice. She lived a happy love filled life and passed 3 months ago.

Absolutely horrible employer. Put on a show about being all about their employees' health and wellness. Then, when an employee actually has an issue, they find a sad, pitiful excuse to get rid of them so they have do not have to accommodate the employee. Disgusting excuse for an organization. I hope they treat the animals better than they do the people.

See other review. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. The carelessness of some caretakers was completely off the charts! Who wants that in a shelter and why is that even allowed?
