CVS abuses their employees. A CVS pharmacist recently died due to this. All of the employees are working hard and are stretched thin. This CVS is derelict and abusive the manager or owner should be ashamed and should shell out the money to improve working conditions. You can't even get a basket when you come in, or use the restroom. Derelict. This is in a "wealthy" area too next to Earth Fare. Step it up. Don't make everyone suffer for your bottom line!!!

If there was 0 stars id give it to them! Julia i guess is her name in the pharmacy... So ??????? rude! Cant get a straight up answer about a refill on a prescription so when I have to call back and call back and call back she's the one that has the attitude and still can't even give me an answer but don't point you in the right direction don't tell you what you need to do doesn't try to help you fix the problem rude rude rude

I had a terrible experience with the pharmacy at this CVS. I have been going here for years and had a very ok at best experience in the past. Recently I have become self employed and in the process of finding health insurance that actually works for me and my medications. After finding the right insurance I went to fill my birth control and was told with my insurance it would be $400-$600 dollars! After getting little help from an 800 number I pulled up goodrx to use a coupon but was then told after clicking the prescription and the location/pharmacy, the $48 coupon was incorrect and the price was actually $92. I ended up leaving the store without my prescription and frustrated that I got little help from anyone. I will be moving my prescriptions to a pharmacy that actually helps and does not tell me the coupon I just downloaded isn't correct.

The blonde lady with glasses that works at the pharmacy was extremely rude to me. I instantly transferred my medication to Walgreens and was treated 10 times better there.

This is the absolute worst CVS location that I have ever been to. I was talking to one of the pharmacy staff members who just walked away while I was in the middle of my sentence. Matt the PharmD then came over and canceled my vaccine appointment without my consent and walked away. As a physician, I will never send my prescriptions here and would recommend that others avoid this location at all costs.

I’ve never been to a CVS that has no public bathrooms. This is a pharmacy that will not allow sick people to use their restrooms with the nearest public restroom being Earthfare.

Worst store and customer service I’ve ever experience at any public business. They should just close already.

The people at Westgate CVS are always friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. They are a cohesive team and their vibe makes the space trustworthy and welcoming. They know and greet me when when I walk in the door. They are right there for questions and know where to point me for whatever I’m looking for. They help out to maximize savings for customers. This is my CVS for my prescriptions, OTCs and various other health, beauty, and healthy snack shopping. I really love this store. The people here are what make it so good.

This is the worst CVS I've ever been to. Unfortunately, my insurance requires I go to CVS for prescriptions. The pharmacist is very short and rude with customers. I tried for 2 weeks to get meds transferred from another store. Not one time did he try to stop and talk to me about the problem, just said I needed to talk to the other store, not in a nice way. I finally gave up because I needed blood pressure meds I had been trying to get. The is always a long wait.

Pharmacist refused to fill my medication. He hung up on me when I asked for clarification about why that was. I called back and requested his information so I could file a complaint with the Board of Pharmacy, and he said “it’s on the wall, why don’t you come down here and get it,” then hung up on me again.

Overall the store is great and items are easily found. I give this a 1 star due to the rudeness of the pharmacy staff. Their shortness and how they treat customers is unacceptable

Good luck talking to anyone unless you want to go in and wait in line and then have them ask for your info and meds where everyone can hear. The shortest time I’ve waited on hold when I call is 8 minutes. Yesterday I gave up after being on hold for 26 minutes. I was able to talk with someone 2 weeks ago after waiting 14 minutes. I was out of town for work and trying desperately to talk to them to get my medication filled. I can’t do it online because they have it marked as filled and it’s year long prescription. I have a patient assistance coupon that the doctor arranged for me and sent into the pharmacy. This pharmacy is telling me that I need a prior authorization and I do not. So it’s been 2 weeks since I have had my medication and I can’t even get ahold of the pharmacy to get this resolved. I only gave them 2 stars instead of one because they do fill my insurance covered prescriptions but still can’t seem to auto refill when I request it. Go elsewhere. Publix is good and the cvs on Merrimon is better.

Called an hour ahead to have an RX transferred from another CVS. The person that answered the phone sounded bothered and annoyed to do his job “I guess we’ll get this done for you” then proceeded to hang up as I was asking how long so we knew when to arrive as we were just passing through. An hour later I’m told by the same person, it’ll be about 30 mins…what? There’s no one else waiting you can’t push that through since I called over an hour ago. I can do 15 mins…I don’t have a problem waiting but it’s how the events unfolded but people who should not be in customer service.

Visiting Asheville for the weekend and forgot a critical prescription. I called them and asked if they could provide two days worth while I was here and they did with no problem (I’m a CVS customer in my hometown). The pharmacist was super nice and helpful. Thank you for helping so I didn’t have to ruin the weekend and head home early!!
