Tried the minute clinic for the first time. My husband had a bad ear ache and scheduled a 4:30 appointment after reading online that scheduling an appointment would insure a short wait time. Online it also said the average wait time is 22 minutes. We got there 15 minutes early and checked in at the kiosk. It appeared that there were two people ahead of us so we assumed we might have to wait. An hour past the appointment time, with no one to ask about the wait time, we cancelled and left. I would prefer waiting at an urgent care or ER to this. At least at a ER or urgent care you can check in with someone. Here you sit for ever and no one acknowledges you.

Terrible, the pharmacy is so understaffed. I don’t blame the workers. CVS is trash.

Don't use this CVS ever. This is the second time in a row where it has taken them 24hrs from the time an urgent care doctor sent over a prescription. They put the vaccine booster people over the prescriptions. I watched it happen with my first prescription. The staff telling all the prescriptions will be avaliable tomorrow because the pharmacist has to give the booster vaccines.

Pharmacy customer service may be the worst I've ever experienced

We are here because we are sick. Pharmacy is sitting here gossiping loudly about patients. Also made fun of me for asking to use the bathroom while we wait for our appointment- very inappropriate and not super caring for a staff that is supposed to be here for sick people.

I’ve had to cancel 2 vaccine appointments, which I haven’t found a way to do so in the app or online, including googling it. I’ve stayed on hold w/the pharmacy for over 30 min each time without anyone even answering to put me on hold. I know everyone is short-staffed, so make it an obvious option online/ in app.

This CVS is constantly out of standard medications, they hardly ever pick up the phone, and the pharmacy staff gossips about coworkers loudly behind the counter. This pharmacy is directly beside my apartment complex but after 5 years I am forced to transfer to the Walgreens down the road because of their consistent shortcomings. Edited to add: they have literally lost my last prescription to be filled there. My doctor sent it over, I called it in, and I have two texts from the CVS number telling me to come pick it up. The pharmacy staff told me 1. that they don't have any record at all of the prescription, and 2. that I SHOULD NOT TRUST OR BELIEVE ANY TEXTS I RECEIVE FROM CVS. As if I needed another last straw.

I was here on the evening of October 24th. I approached the registers at front of store to pay and what did I see? An employee who had signs out " closed use next register " while she was texting on her cellphone. Are you kidding me?Where is management? She saw I was not going to use self checkout and she with a bad attitude and laziness slowly removed the sign and rolled her eyes and checked me out. Not a word was spoken by her. As I left she put the closed sign back and got back on her cellphone. So CVS pays people to stand around with a bad attitude, being lazy, and on their cellphone? If you can't operate a business better than that why don't you close it permanently? Never again will I buy anything else there.

Only made this my default pharmacy bc of the convenient location. They never ever pick up the phone even when they’re not doing anything else. Have waited 30 mins to an hour every time I’ve called about my prescriptions and just end up giving up every time. Second to last time I was there, there were 4 people on hold on the phone and 2 people behind the counter just chatting acting like nothing was happening. Lines move insanely slow. There are several other CVS locations in Asheville that have the same amount of people working at the pharmacy at any given time that pick up the phone in 5 mins or less. Garbage pharmacy, don’t get your meds from here

They never answer the phone. And the lines are SO long. They are very slow and although they attend to each customer. They aren’t vigilant on making sure your medications are easily available. This pharmacy has created a lot of stress for me but is very nearby. I will be switching based on this info. I would rather drive than second guess and feel left hanging/abandoned.

This pharmacy has way too many prescriptions to fill for the number of employees they have. They try very hard but it can take as much as two days to get a non-urgent prescription filled. Also, I get text messages saying prescription is ready for pick up and I go there and it's not. Frustrating. This location is generally about 2 days behind. They're very nice, there just aren't enough of them to keep up.

Conveniently located on Merrimon Avenue. Prescriptions are filled quickly and I am always asked if I have any questions about the drugs.Like most pharmacies today, it seems to carry a bit of everything.
