Generally ok most of the time. However, the pharmacy gets really backed up around 4:30-5:00.
Other than the pharmacy most other employees are very inconsistent. Some are really great and seem to know the inventory and locations of items. Others have no clue where items are located. Although they are generally honest about not knowing and may in fact help you find items.

Was a little reluctant to fill my prescription here after reading the reviews but I must say I had a great experience. The pharmacist and staff were very helpful and even though they were busy, I was acknowledged. The whole process went smoothly and efficiently.

This pharmacy is just, ok. I went to pick up a prescription and it wasn't ready. They said it would be 30 min. Literally, 5 min later it was ready. I had to go in the store because they wouldn't take my goodrx coupon in the drive through. BTW, that coupon brought the cost down from 80.00 to 30.00!!! Anyway, the pharmacy tech was not friendly at all and seemed to be irritated that I had the coupon and she had to change it. She
Never once smiled or acknowledged me other that just a number. The other girl that rang me up was pretty nice. I only go to this pharmacy if I have too....the customer service sucks.

The staff at this CVS is excellent. The pharmacy, in particular pharmacist Abigail, is excellent and thorough. I’m very glad they’re in my area. Customer Service builds repeat customers.

I don't know exactly what their problem is but they definitely have problems at this location. The customer service here needs improvement.

Most insufferable pharmacy in all of asheville. A complete joke. The most apathetic, condescending, and incompetent employees.

No customer service, no one at the check-out counter, I had to walk to the pharmacy for them to page someone to checkout, then they did not know how to use my coupon. Worst customer service I've ever experienced, except for the previous time I went there and it was significantly worse.

An absolute joke of a pharmacy. Provides the most minimal service and is always closed inside of their open hours. Every single time I’m notified my prescription is ready and I show up there is an issue. I’m constantly told can you just drive to the back of the line of 15 cars? No I won’t. You told me it’s ready. I waited 20 minutes to get to this point give me my prescription. Was forced to switched to this location due to the flooding of the Walgreens on Tunnel, which provided service that was exponentially better. You could probably drive to a pharmacy in Hendersonville and back and it would be more convenient than this one. Shame on you for remaining open when you cannot provide the service you are selling, holding prescriptions that people need to live hostage. Close your store.

Always an incredibly long wait. Several times I've tried to drive through but when there is a problem with rx you have to go inside and wait in line Again. Overall a frustrating experience.

Called all day trying to get info about prescriptions. Finally came over after work at 7:45pm, and the pharmacists just seemed completely done and over it. They don’t call you back when you leave voicemails and they no longer answer customer calls. Just seems they’re not hiring adequate amount of staff to handle the workload. I’m frustrated cause answering a few questions could’ve saved me an unnecessary trip.
I finished talking to pharmacy at 8:03pm and started looking for some otc things my doc told me to get. I had grabbed a couple items and a young guy with glasses at 8:04pm came up to me exasperated saying that they were closed and their registers were shut down.. so I just put all the things down in my hands and followed him out… then I saw someone checking out at self checkout, so I went back to grab my items, despite the employee calling after me. I grabbed my 3 things I’d been looking for and checked out a few minutes later.
This and many other experiences at this cvs just highlights a lack of care for their customers, and I’m forced to shop here because of my insurance. Not allowing a customer to finish shopping just minutes after close—while others are checking out—is unreasonable. I hope this feedback helps improve service at this location.

Pharmacy - Very bad experience, will not return calls, rude interactions, and apparently dishonest when confronted; run, don't walk away from this pharmacy, non-pharmacy a good experience.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so publicly humiliated in all my life. Some of the confusion began simply due to not having received any notifications that prescriptions were ready. I tried mentioning that, but received no response, nor any advice of how I could help correct the issue. I simply needed to pick up two prescriptions that were FAR overdue. After waiting in the drive-up, a gentleman explained to me that they did have both prescriptions in, but that the pharmacy had a shortage of one (I assumed he was saying one could not be filled, or could only be PARTIALLY filled due to a supply shortage), then asked I come into the store to speak with someone. Once inside, I spoke with a cashier who said “We have one through, the other is not.” Oddly, the “one through” was the one I had just been told there was a shortage of. Confused, I asked what I needed to do to get the other prescription “through” & explained that it should have been called in to them on October 21st. After a regional disaster & not having medications filled from 6 days-over two weeks, I was nervous that there must be yet another problem - went on to explain that I normally have that prescription filled at the nearby Walgreens. (Which Helene destroyed). After only a minute, the employee tells me, “Oh, nevermind. Sometimes I can just hit a couple of magic buttons & it will be submitted.” I thanked her, she asked me to leave because they needed 30 more minutes. Everything seemed normal picking the medications up, but as I pulled out of the drive-through & opened the bag, I realized one of the prescriptions had a label that read “30 of 90”. I thought “of course, he told me there was a shortage”. I have always been advised when mistakes like these are suspected, to not drive home with the medication, to go back inside & speak with the staff. I didn’t even open the bottle because if the count wasn’t correct, I did not want to be accused of having tampered with it. I go back in again. “This first prescription looks totally fine. I am just concerned that the second one is either mislabeled or, I don’t know, if I did not get the correct number.” I pointed out that it was labeled “30/90”, was confused & needed to verify that it contained the correct amount. I was given an aggravated, vague lecture about the mislabeled bottle, then was told “YOU & I BOTH KNOW THERE ARE MORE THAN 30 PILLS IN THAT BOTTLE” by who must’ve either been a supervisor/pharmacist. Her language & tone were very accusatory, as if suggesting I was the one at fault. Even after she’d demeaned me this way, I went on to again just try to ask for verification of the count, since there was a pharmacy mistake made on the label. The cashier asked if she could run the medication through the “counter” while I waited, and she was told “NO. I COUNTED THEM MYSELF ALREADY. WE ARE NOT COUNTING THEM AGAIN. IF ‘SHE’ (gesturing to me) WANTS TO COUNT THEM, SHE WILL HAVE TO COUNT THEM HERSELF.” I was almost in shock. The mistake was on the pharmacy & I wasn’t even upset that a mistake had been made. I asked “Are you seriously going to make me pour these out on the counter beside the register & count them by hand, myself? I have always been advised not to open bottles & to bring them in, if there could be a problem.” She goes on, raising her voice & being hostile, “I TOLD YOU I RAN THEM THROUGH THE COUNTER MYSELF WHEN IT WAS FILLED. IT DOESN’T MATTER THAT THE LABEL HAS THE INCORRECT NUMBER. IF YOU WANT TO CHECK THEM, THEN YOU HAVE TO POUR THEM OUT & DO IT YOURSELF. WE WILL NOT BE COUNTING THEM.” I didn’t speak one more word from that moment. I was made to dump my prescription out on a dirty pharmacy customer service counter, with shoppers around able to see my medication, feeling I had no other choice. I was deeply embarrassed, felt disrespected & misjudged, but stood there & counted every single pill as quickly as I could -The count WAS indeed correct, and that’s all I needed professionally verified in the first place.

Consistently worst pharmacy experience.

Dropping off prescriptions should not take this long (an hour all said and done!). It was faster in the 90s than in 2024. The ladies behind the counter seemed confused with everyone she encountered.
