We have been forced to do business with CVS due to a contract with insurance from an employer. I've despised CVS for years due to lack of competence. Thanksgiving and I have bronchitis now! You can't get through to do anything without talking to get there. I asked for meds to be sent to another location because it is closer for me and I'm unsure of how they got to that location to begin with. Person on the phone told me to call that location ... Are u serious, u hear how I sound and want me to call them too?? What happened to some simple freaking compassion?? Yeah, they haven't changed a bit ...

All of the staff here are rude but 2 people!!!! I can't remember the 2 girls names but I absolutely love them and you'll know if you run across them!!♡♡♡♡ they're always down to help and answer any** questions you have. They will always try and help get you the lowest price of meds if you dont have insurance. There's and older lady that is usually working the window that doesn't like doing anything and is always rude to me. Everytime I call they're quick to hang-up. I never really write reviews but it was about time because I'm just fed up with these people.

Pharmacy department refused to refill a prescription for my family member. Clearly says it has refills left printed on the bottle and refused to contact provider, they tried contacting them on a Saturday (when they are closed) and immediately canceled the order altogether.

I had an amazing experience in the pharmacy. Very nice young man. But the big boy up front was hateful. I used self check out so I would have to talk to him anymore. He was rude and disrespectful.

Ana Rose, the store manager, gave me an attitude when I asked for something to be corrected that was priced incorrectly than what the item rang up as. It was a dollar difference, but it doesn't matter. I have been in this store 4 times in a short period and 3 out of the 4 times have been bad experiences. This manager is arrogant to say the least. They definitely need new management. I will not go back until it changes.

My wife and I recently moved to Asheville, and began using the pharmacy at CVS on Smokey Park Highway. I generally don’t view a visit to a pharmacy as an especially pleasant experience, but as the cliché goes, there is a first time for everything. Indeed, merely describing my visit as "pleasurable" fails to do justice to the pharmacist, Jessica, and her team. Jessica is not onlyeminently qualified and helpful, but she has created a culture of professionalism and excellence throughout the pharmacy which makes the customer feel valued. Pharmacies freely speak ofcustomer service, and this CVS delivers it! Stated succinctly, Jessica is a consummate professional, and her entire team emulates her exemplary example. I could continue withsuperlatives, but far better to visit this pharmacy and experience customer service at its best.

mostly use the drive through. was given someone else's medication once and returned it immediately. total waste of paper on the receipts as we all know but if you use coupons, the stacking option is still great. I am not a total fan though, of the new check out stations, as one is never working.

Look, I hate to be negative, and if you read my reviews I can typically find a bright side. But I’m sorry, this CVS location is the armpit of the pharmaceutical universe. They are consistently understaffed, and the staff they are able to briefly keep are almost always inattentive, unhelpful, and outside of the confines of the pharmacy, very difficult to find. The sad part is, once you finally find one, they are so unbelievably rude that you wish you hadn’t.Save yourself some heartache and shop someplace else. Literally. Any. Place. Else.

If I could give this place a 0, I would. We are from out of town and had a prescription called in. I got an alert saying it was ready. Then they said the power flickered and their systems shut down. They said they couldn’t look through the bins manually to find ours. I had all of the info, even the cost for them. They refused to help us. They had JUST filled it too.

Zero stars for this place! Tons of pharmacy employees but the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing! Dropped off a prescription for my son after having his wisdom teeth removed and he was in need of pain medicine!!!!!Came back when I was told to but, "Someone " forgot to put it in the system. No apology! Just, "she'll expedite it."Not acceptable! You guys have to be better than this!

Don’t go to this pharmacy. I managed to get the care I needed from a Range Urgent care Telehealth session while we were waiting for the pharmacy drive thru. The hardest part was getting them to return my insurance card after we sat at the window for 30 minutes. No!

The pandemic and staffing shortages certainly have impacted this location of CVS (it closes early and also the drive-thru is closed for half an hour at lunch, from 1:30 to 2 pm). Overall, though, this CVS does a good job. Staffers are friendly. I'd continue to cut them a break due to circumstances beyond their control.

As someone who has had 3 major surgeries in the last few years, multiple infections, and on consistent meds, I’ve had to fill a lot of prescriptions, been to a lot of pharmacies, gotten upset, gotten denied meds, and at this point I think I’m a pharmacy pro. From what I’ve observed, the people in the pharmacy seem to always be working hard and running around getting stuff filled. They helped me find a discount code when my insurance didn’t cover my meds and they cost $400 out of pocket. I like that when I call I get a person quickly when I’m checking on my meds. I moved here from California and did a lot of research choosing one in the area. I found that most pharmacies get bad ratings but I don’t think the ones given to this one are justified. With any pharmacy, people need to understand that you need to go at less busy times if you can and also know that sometimes you will need to come back again. Plan for that and don’t just sit around and complain. Also, the state and your insurance company have weird rules and it’s not the pharmacy. They would get fired if they don’t follow what they are supposed to. Unless this place is slammed, I’ve always had an above average experience. I’m grateful for everyone that works here and has helped me.

The Pharmacy is a nightmare. I have had an issue with a young lady (silver shoulder length hair, glasses) that has no business dealing with people, and should be fired. I’ve used CVS for so many years and I hate to leave, however, their consistent issues at this location have left me without medications that I can’t skip simply because they lack the ability to “get it together”. Seems I’m not the only one, and that’s just sad. Customer service is a dying art.

The pharmacy is the rudest I have ever experienced!! Wish I could give no stars! The blonde silver hair girl needs to be fired! Her attitude is like nothing I have ever seen before.
