Love this place. Not cheap of course, but worth it. It feels like a mix of an art space and a shop. Grabbed a mug (finally!) and am happy about it. The people who worked there were friendly, too.

I purchased two mugs as a gift for my brother on the recommendation of Hannah Louise Poston. The mugs did not disappoint! My brother is discerning and can be challenging to buy gifts for. He absolutely loves the mugs and says they are beautiful and perfect. Thank you so much East Fork

I ordered the small black mountain candle thru their website. I love the pottery color which is described as a raven in moonlight. It is the perfect size to place on a desk. The Scent developed and poured by Joya Studios is a blend of Hinoki, Mushroom, Dirt and Firewood. It truly delivers on my expectations of the smell of the woods after an afternoon storm. I was raised along "the grade" near Ceasar's Head, Sc; this candle is a reminder of the woods I used to wander in for hours.

My kids and I have been collecting East Fork Pottery for a few years now and love adding pieces. I just bought both of my kids the weekend bowl in the new color Mollasses and it is STUNNING!! The new color is a beautiful rich brown and the glaze has the smoothest texture. It feels smother than any other item I’ve gotten so far and all of their glazes feel great already. The bowl somehow looks like is made of the softest leather . Both kids (adults) were so happy to receive the bowl for their birthdays. It’s was a great standalone gift and I highly recommend it if you are looking to gift one special piece of pottery in a phenomenal color that goes with everything. My daughter put it right out on a credenza under her tv on the wall for decor but said she can’t wait to cook something to serve in it. The new color Nightswim is also in the same smooth finish and just as beautiful and almost as neutral. Eastfork hasn’t missed with their blues and greens. I got a Coup Bowl for myelf in Nightswim. I find this shape bowl the best for pasta/bowl meals and love adding to my stack.

Beautiful store. Super helpful staff. I’ve seen all the pieces for so long online - it was great to see the colors and feel them in person!

My husband and I planned a trip go Asheville recently with the explicit intention of visiting East Fork. We live more than seven hours away. ? I’ve been collecting EF for almost a year at this point — I’ll get a plate here, mug there, bowl when I see a color I like. When I visited the store I compared it to “my Disney world.” All bets were off. It’s such a lovely store. Everything is so aesthetically pleasing, clean and well organized. The staff was kind and engaging. We were the only ones in the store and they were eager to help and ask questions. I love being part of this little community. I also love the work for equality this community does.

This may be my favorite place ever. I started collecting East Fork over 6 years ago and it has been a joy to collect so many wonderful pieces. Their pottery is exciting and bright while also being neutral. I've collected an array of different glazes. East fork makes the best dishes around!

This is the most cute store in all of Asheville. I take all of my out of town guests here and we collectively drool over all the pretty items. This store is so chic. And has amazing light and has an epic location right in the middle of Lexington. The staff is always glowing and super helpful. I also love when they have events and come out with new colors every once in a while. I'm a huge fan of how they create table top settings so you can see how the colors go with each other. If you haven't been here yet and you need some new kitchenware. This is your place.

Really nice spot if you're looking for some really nice crafted dinnerware, or kitchen items. We always take notice of really nice dishes that restaurants use (so we can look up/order for personal use) and notice that many Asheville restaurants use East Fork. Even better that we researched and the company was actually there, downtown. The variety and colors of their products are right up our alley. Pricey, and service could be better, but worth a stop in to browse and pick up some pieces or a set.

Customer service review...I had been looking for the set of rainbow dishes to give to my daughter for Christmas, and was excited to find them at the Atlanta store. Because I live in Asheville, I called the Georgia store, and purchased them over the phone. I told the sales associate I had a relative in the Atlanta area who could pick them up, and bring them to Asheville. The sales associate was very kind and let me know the following Wednesday there would be a courier between the Asheville store and the Atlanta store, and they would be happy to send them up to the Asheville store the Wednesday before Christmas, at no charge. I accepted the offer. The set never made it to the Asheville store. I began calling late Wednesday (after the courier had arrived in Asheville), to track the whereabouts of the dishes. Every time I reached someone on the phone, I was told they would call me back after they looked into the order. Between Wednesday and Friday, I spoke with four different associates, at three different locations, just trying to locate my order. I spoke with associates in the Asheville store, the Atlanta location, and apparently the downtown production warehouse. Because no one was actually calling me back (despite their pledge to do just that), I finally emailed the Atlanta store and received a quick message stating my package had never left the Atlanta store. Subsequent to that email, I received a phone call from an associate by the name of Sarah. She was very kind, and said that she would "expedite" the package by dropping it off with UPS that day. I was hopeful that "expedite" meant overnight shipping with UPS to my home. I asked her to please email me the tracking number that Friday as it was now the 23rd of December, and this was a Christmas gift.I did not receive an email with the tracking number until the following week. The package was not expedited with UPS. In fact, the package shipping label was not created until the 27th of December, and the package was not taken to a UPS facility for shipping until the 28th of December, according to the UPS records. The package I was told would be "expedited" was shipped five days after the date I was given for shipment, and was sent using UPS ground. The gift arrived nearly a week after I was told it had been shipped from the Atlanta location. But it gets better...Tonight, the intended recipient happened to be at the Asheville East Fork store, making a purchase downtown. When she gave her name at the register, she was asked excitedly "oh, did you receive your set of rainbow bowls from Atlanta?" When my daughter said that, yes, they had arrived that very day, the sales associate said to her... "Yeah, it's really hard to get people their items when they wait until the last minute before Christmas to purchase them." My daughter informed her that the dishes had been purchased with plenty of time to be gifted at Christmas... It was East Fork, who had dropped the ball in getting them where they needed to be.Days after the shipment finally arrived, I received an email from East Fork, asking me to fill out a customer service survey, asking if I was happy with the service received. I wrote out exactly what had happened, and emailed East fork back, since I was not at all happy with the customer service I had received. The response that I got was a backhanded note about how busy things are at Christmas time. Nothing more. For a company that prides themselves on being a high end purveyor of pottery, they have much to live up to in the customer service department. I have been, quite frankly, shocked by the customer service and follow-up exhibited by the East Fork Pottery team this holiday season.

I was BEYOND excited to finally get to visit the East Fork Shop in AVL. I live on the coast, and my sissy in Brevard, so we finally made the time to visit! The staff were SUPER helpful, and it was so difficult to decide which color to choose to begin my dinnerware collection!Being a production potter myself for many years, I understand the labor of love that goes into a piece. They truly make the masses happy with all of the stunning options of glaze colors they have to offer!I spent a pretty penny, but it was all worth it, one day I will be able to pass these pieces down to my children. My Christmas Eve dinner table was decked out in East Fork and that was all I wanted for the holidays!

We came to Asheville on vacation and went to the East Fork store on 12/3/22 early afternoon. My plan was to buy one of my wife's Christmas presents to finish out all of her place settings in her four color choices. We love the product and the company; however, our in store experience was extremely disappointing. We were the only two customers in the store and the two sales people were too involved with each other and never even acknowledged our presence. Completely unacceptable given the investment in the product. We will take our business elsewhere.

To put your knife and fork on these plates to eat makes a lot of noise. Honestly. Not pleasant. I'd rather have porcelain plates or wood, or anything else but these clunky, noise plates and mugs as well. Ugh..

I was so thrilled to be able to finally visit the East Fork storefront in Asheville! I’ve been collecting East Fork Pottery for years now, and it was such a fun experience to pick out my own pieces in the shop instead of just ordering things online! The shop itself was a total delight! It is bright and perfectly curated. The two workers were as enthusiastic about East Fork as I was, and were happy see listen to me gush about how much I love their pottery. We all decided that everything looks better on East Fork Pottery!!!

Well made and beautiful pottery as well as other kitchen accessories. A special shout-out to Freddy for facilitating a complicated request. Many thanks!
