This was my first time dining here, and I had a wonderful experience. I don't recall the name of my dish, but it came with a sope (added beef) and a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. It was delicious! Also, I loved all the salsa/sauce selections. I sat over on the bar side, but this is definitely a family-friendly place, so don't let the photo fool you. This place has tons of space. Whether you're trying to watch a game over a meal or dining out with family, I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, service, and atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

it's a standard fare Mexican restaurant that's nice and clean with good food, great service and a really big bar as well.Kid-friendliness: there's a kids menu that doubles as a page for coloring with crayonsParking: parking lot shared in a fairly busy plaza but it's not too badWheelchair accessibility: no restrictions were apparent to usDietary restrictions: custom orders didn't seem to be an issue

The only thing lacking here is the outdoor vibe. Their patio is in a parking lot on Patton avenue. There's nothing much they can do to improve that short of building a concrete wall to block that car-filled view, covering it with a mural, and decorating it with plants and lanterns and sombreros, etc. Everything else is perfect. The moment you walk inside you'll forget you're on Patton Avenue anyway. There's an abundance of booths! There's a salsa station that you can visit immediately because guess what, hot tortilla chips are on the way! Their Margaritas are great. The service is so good here, as well.

Entrees were just ok, guacamole was filled with onions and just awful. Beans were not tasty at all. We took out, so no service or ambiance comments. Overall, not a place we'd return to.

Super service. Terrific food. Wonderful salsa bar. We had steak fajitas and carnitas fajitas. Each order was enough for 2! Best fajitas east of San Antonio! Dulce is a gem of a server!!

The food here has been pretty good and my family is always satisfied with our meal. their chips are fresh and their bean dip is smooth and creamy. The service is usually pretty quick and their food is always consistent.Food: 4/5

I didn’t like the soup I ordered because it wasn’t the same as the soup at Papa’s & Beer (which I was told shared the exact same menu) but instead of allowing me to send it back I had to eat it. Needless to say, I just picked at it and ate the squash and left the rest of the bowl. Server didn’t offer to fix anything or replace it with another menu item. Never coming back to this location.

Fantastic food! Amazing variety and excellent service. Always a pleasure to dine in or get take out from. Just today I had a lunch with the shrimp cocktail and some marinated pork fajitas. Perfect! Elmer was attentive, quick and very friendly. For a casual dinner or lunch and some nice drinks don’t miss out.

This is by far the best mexican reastraunt in all the areas I have traveled service is top notch even when they are busy. The prices are awesome for how much food you get, alcoholic beverages, they make them right, not watered down. Salsa bar, clean sometimes there is a wait but what can you expect with the best Mexican in town, food comes quick. There can be some noise if you eat there when they are busy. Great decoration's.Vegetarian options: They have these optionsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyParking: Lots and lots of spacesWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessibleDietary restrictions: They can accommodate on most things.

I have eaten at El Que Pasa since it first opened on Patton Avenue (over a decade now). Solid choice every time. Definitely one of my "Local Favorites" in Asheville year after year

Sad to not be able to give them the 5 stars they truly deserve. I was just bragging about the food and prices. I ordered two lunch items that cost $5.99 and $6.99 respectively, just to be told they are each $9.99. when brought to their attention I was informed he couldn't do anything or change anything just let the manager know that there are price discrepancies. He could've did the right thing and reissued the ticket with the correct price, but instead they have possibly lost a loyal customer. I happily pay the $30 plus on my dinner order. I would've liked to get the right price for my lunch as well. Guess new Mexican restaurant in the future.

Are you kidding me?! Yummy! The food was out super fast, the waitress was amazing and they have a free salsa bar! The atmosphere was great, I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Just go already!

For the most part, great Mexican food! Large restaurant and bar. Beans, rice, salsa, are great. Enchiladas so-so. Taquitos were hard, burnt and dry, including the meat inside, and needed salt. The service is super fast but not friendly. I would eat here again but try something else.

Walked in, literally thought I was in Mexico! This restaurant was so cute and the culture was screaming! Ordered the asada burrito and when I tell you I’ve never had food so greasy and cooked to perfection!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend this place!!!
