Tellers are great. No problem there.Lost my card on a weekend out, and asked for them to send a new card in the mail… that was on December 20th and now it’s January 21st and I still don’t have a card from them.I Had to open an account somewhere else to have a working card to pay bills with.Customer care could be much better.

I was making a deposit at the ATM on Merrimon Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina this morning. The deposit was for 160.00. The machine wouldn’t except 4 of the 20 dollar bills. In return the machine gave me back 80.00 and kept 80.00, with no deposit slip. I circled around to the teller to deposit the 80.00 and to explain the previous attempted deposit. I explained my situation and made the 80.00 deposit . The teller gave me the fraud Dept. number to call.When I asked the teller her name she replied Stephanie, WHY? Why?In a challenging voice tone.When This response was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I made sure I wasn’t ugly as it was going to be up 10 days before I could get this credited to my account.( I found out after contacting the Fraud Dept.) So, I didn’t need to be talked to so unkindly. I Wanted to post this so others would know if you make deposits into the ATM and something happens like this, you will not get your money back for up to 10 days.

I have several accounts with FCB and always rely on this Merrimon Ave branch for assistance. I always have a great banking experience as the tellers and account managers go above and beyond what is expected of them to make sure that my requests and needs are met. First really satisfying bank I've ever been to. Excellent customer service and great workers. I really like this place and trust them with my money and that's hard to do after bad experiences with Bank of America before. Rachel is my favorite.

What can you say about a bank who's employees fail to call back after they say they will, and managers that don't call after numerous messages left? Six attempts for a single question over a one year period. Absolutely feckless customer service.

Everyone here is so friendly and my wait is never long. Going to the bank is usually not my favorite errand to run, however, every time I drive up to this bank I am greeted with a smiling face and it makes my experience with First Citizens very enjoyable!! I will continue to go to this bank and I recommend stopping by this branch for a positive banking experience!
