“I've been coming here since I was a kid and I'm 49 years old. This is a great place to get fresh produce, niche items made by mountain artisans and just a good place to walk around and look at all the wares, flowers and even check out DJ's pickles! These are hardworking folks and you can get much more healthy items for the same price or not much more as you would find at a regular grocery store and you're supporting truly local businesses. Check 'em out-”

“This store was devastated last year with 8 ft of water. Today they are back open and the store is beautiful. Come out and see them today. Tomorrow, 7/10/25, is the grand opening.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Sow True Seed. I was fortunate to stumble upon the shop during a trip to Asheville about a year and a half ago, and now we visit every time we drive up from Greenville. The staff is made up of some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and they’re incredibly helpful because they want you to succeed with whatever you are growing. The selection of books, seeds, starters, and gardening tools are top notch. I’m so grateful to have found Sow True Seed.”

“It’s an Aldi’ what can you say. I guess their cheese selection is not as big as some other Aldi’s I’ve been to in Asheville area,
They were low on a lot of frozen items, my guess is they are slowly replacing frozen food after 2+ weeks of no power in Asheville.”
