I'd rather have cancer than shop here. Probably cheaper too.

My friend had a bad experience and wrote a bad review about the service of the guy who works here. I had to go there and I asked the same guy several questions and he was very helpful and kind and answered a lot of questions that I asked him. Good job! Thks

Don’t ever come to this location. They will make you wait half an hour just to not let you trade in your system. If you try calling ahead to see if they can trade in so you don’t waste your time driving over there, they won’t answer the phone making you go to the location. Never going here again

Walked in to sell my pink Nintendo switch lite today, the trade value was 45 60(with pro). There was a super mirco scratch on the screen but otherwise in pretty good condition. The lady at the counter whom was about 23-30 said that she’d have to mark it as defective and tried to only give us 17$. When I first walked in she was complaining of the “holiday hours” and having to work them. Needless to say I refused the 17$ but took my switch to the game stop near Arden about 20 min the other way. They sold it to me at 45 (I have no pro) easy no problem they hooked it up did there tests and bam was all good. Highly suggest the lady at this counter take some more training and appreciate she even has a job.

Patiently awaited the release of the promo card that came out with the new Obsidian Flames set for Pokémon TCG just be told I had to be a “pro member” in order to receive it. However I was told the previous week to come back with my receipt the following week. I don’t know if the airport rd store is ran by the same people but I called to confirm this information and I was told they handed them out with any purchase and no membership necessary. I understand the company wants to up those pro memberships but this is shady. I already don’t frequent the company as a whole due to their pricing and overall customer service but I’ll be sure to NEVER spend another penny in GameStop ever again.

This GameStop straight up lied to me. I had called them pretty early in the day and asked them if the Pyra/Mythra amiibos were available. Which the responded with yes. I was then asked if I wanted to reserve them since they are being purchased very quickly and out of stock in several stores. I went ahead and told them I'd like that so that I could pick them up after my shift at work instead of rushing over. They ask for my full name and phone number which I give them. My shift ends and I head over to this GameStop (pretty far distance from where I live and work). I give the employee my full name and tell him about my reservation which I am then told that they sold it to someone else. I'm really irritated that not only was I promised a reservation, I had to drive so far when they could've called me or been honest about not actually going to reserve what I had asked. I was stupid for placing my trust in this GameStop and should've went before my shift. Do not trust what any employee there says. They will lie to you. Now I am unlikely ever going to get the amiibos since they are out of stock everywhere and are being resold online for over $100 which is something I can't afford. I will never be going to this GameStop ever again

Asher was so helpful - the problem was there wasn’t record of my purchase in their system, and I needed my system replaced under warranty. I visited this GameStop 3x’s looking for a solution - one employee even suggested I purchase my own parts. Thank you , Asher!

Hours are NEVER accurate. I've submitted updates to hours twice in a single calendar year. CONSTANTLY changing management and cannot retain employees. The turnover rate is incredibly sad. Unreliable hours during the day, including 1 hour+ long "breaks" where they lock the doors at random times during their small window of opening hours. It's a shame because this location used to be run by exceptional management. Now, I simply don't rely on them at all.

Do not preorder any games at this location.I preordered Tears of the Kingdom last month and was told there would be a midnight release. I called 3 days ago to confirm that a midnight release was indeed happening, and the employee told me it definitely was and that I should arrive at 11pm since there are limited copies available.I got there at 11pm and the store was closed. Which is normal, but other GS midnight releases I’ve been to started letting people in around 11:30ish. No one ever showed up. There was a line outside of the door at 12:00 and no employees ever came out. Everyone was disappointed and frustrated. Thankfully the Gamestop in Arden was open and although they could not give us a copy (you can only pick up your preorder copy at the store you ordered at, which I understand) they had some copies in stock for us to buy. So now I have spent $150 on ONE copy of a game.I tried calling multiple times today for a refund for my original preorder and no one is answering the phone. If the store does not have the staff to do a midnight release for a big game, that is totally understandable. What is not understandable is telling customers three days before the release that a midnight event is for sure happening and to arrive early. If for some reason they had to cancel the midnight release, at least put a sign on the door or something? I waited for over an hour and spent another $75 on the game in order to get my copy. I was also supposed to get a preorder bonus, so now I doubt I’m getting that. Please do not preorder at this location. They seem to be critically understaffed and you will not get your game when you’re supposed to. Will not be going to this Gamestop again. The folks at the Arden store were lovely though!

I am giving 5 stars for the worker Skyler who handled a packed store for the first day release of the new Legend of Zelda game. They were polite and professional, especially with the fact that they were the only person working the store. I hope this Gamestop invests in better staffing by levels and compensates employees like Skyler for their dedication and exemplary service.

Visited at 1:30pm lights inside were on but front door was locked, customers were sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open. Upon calling the store no answer. Walked next door to Walmart as well as 2 other customers and each of left with either a new Xbox or PS5. GameStop lost a lot of business that day

This used to be a great store for buying used and refurbished systems but now Do Not Buy A Used or Refurbished product here because it will have a defect of some kind. New stuff is perfectly fine

We were in a few weeks ago, the shop was full, and the employee informed all of us that they were closing in 15 minutes. It was 4 in the afternoon. Then today, tried to go, shop said they were going to be closed for 45 minutes, they left at 3:25, it was 3:35 when we got there. The employee was still inside, waited until we got in our car, about 5 minutes later, and then decided to walk out. Won’t be going back there, waste of time because they choose to close at random times.

The young lady that was working there on Jan 19, 2023 (believe her name was Karen sorry if I got that wrong) was all alone in a completely crowded store. People in line behind me were complaining but she was cool as a cucumber and devoted as much time as it took to each of us. Very knowledgeable and would cause me to revisit the store anytime!
