I absolutely love Goodwill.im there every weekend.. the retail store, and the one besides it, i mostly love going through the bins.. because you never know what you're going to find, the only thing I don't like is you can't always find the other pear to a shoes...there could be a lot better system then what they have... put all the shoes together, clothes with clothes etc etc it would also be easier for the employees to do it that way.. same thing with the retail store.. put t-shirts with t-shirts long sleeves with long sleeves, shoes with shoes and appliances with appliances... just make it more organized.. plus it would make more money for helping the resources of Goodwill... Everyone says they don't go to Goodwill because they're not organized.. and that's truly a shame because I find amazing things there.. I Mean even stuff with tags on them... but YOU shouldn't have to go to a store and look for hours. just wish they would make it more convenient for buyers.... #moreorganize

Guys you !!!!!CANT GET REFUNDED WITH CARD/CASH/ORIGINAL PAY METHOD ANYMORE AS OF "OCTOBER 2024". ONLY ON THE "GOODWILL REFUND CARD"!!!!! and you can only use that card at a goodwill.
I come here clothes shopping and try on at home because their changing rooms are invasive - they show up to your knees; so understandably so, it makes me uncomfortable. Got $80 worth of clothes, tried them on at home, less than half fit good per usual. Went back to get 55 ish dollars refunded and they tell me they don't refund for cash or card anymore, even with a receipt and the same pay method & that they only refund on the "goodwill refund card" and I'm not able to spend it anywhere but goodwill. Never heard of this before and it's not advertised anywhere that I saw. They never told me when I bought those clothes (which would be been the decent thing to do) even though the change was in October 2024 supposedly, so pretty recent to my purchase in December of 2024. So thats very frustrating. Almost like Goodwill robbed me of my money. I wish they made the public informed. I sure wasn't. I don't want to go back bc their changing rooms are so invasive to be in and get undressed in knowing someone could drop something, pick it up and be able see your almost naked body in the changing room foreal. 😒

My favorite store in all of Asheville. Kenny just helped me load up the mattress I bought and would not accept tips, just a hug. Lovely dude! I am almost entirely dressed by this store.

Good selection, mostly well organized. Bathrooms still closed due to lack of water.

Visit was 7/27/24 Lady was very welcoming, however she seemed a little lost and looked so tired. I checked about 7:45pm. I recommend having unlocked dressing rooms and a few more mirrors unless prior to 30 mins before closing. Makes it much easier on staff etc.

I Last Visited several months ago. I used to.go once a month, as it is a long drive for me..The sheer number of young college age guys, who appeared to have been working together, with an older male "leader" was astounding. They would line up both sides of new bins so no one else could get in. They'd be tossing the clothing up in a ruckus trying to.find whatever ee it was they're searching for. Not only this issue, but one of the young men and the older man seemed to know a couple of the workers that bring bins out. At one point while I was dogging through the bin closest to that backroom door, I over heard the worker tell the two men to look om the back end under the red coat of the next bin coming out, and pointed where it was going. Sure enough, the guys went to that spot, lined up and waited a few minutes. The bin came.put, and they snatched up some clothing under the red coat. Also as mentioned in other reviews, these groups will load armful of clothing, and of the shoes, into carts which are then taken against a wall to waiting partners who then sort through the stuff. Discarding unwanted shoes in to the clothing bins.
Management needs to do something about this behavior. I don't know how exactly they can correct it, and prevent the mob mentality of the groups that work the bins together. But it makes it a bad experience for other shoppers.

Lots clothes. It is run of the mill outlet. Pretty cheap per pound pricing.
Goodwill store was connected. It had a great book selection.

You used to be able to find good stuff, now it’s a lot of junk! Like actual trash overpriced and set out on the shelves.
The fellow customers are the most aggressive crowd I have ever seen in a goodwill. It’s to the point I’m afraid to leave my basket unattended in case somebody tries to pick out of it.. It’s 90% transplant resellers. It’s barely tolerable in the summer, but impossible to shop here during the college school year with these depop kids.
