Okay so this place was really neat. But I also had a kid in a stroller and not only is the place not wheelchair accessible but the vibe I got was they did not want kids there. I saw so many panicked faces when we were wheeling him around. He behaved himself fine but I sun felt very awkward having him.

We were blown away by the beautiful old buildings and landscaping, the high quality artwork and furniture, and the whole experience at Grovewood Village. We probably spent 1.5-2 hours exploring and I would recommend it.
Adjacent to the Omni Grove Park Inn is one of Asheville’s hidden gems. Known today as Grovewood Village, this site once housed the weaving and woodworking operations of Biltmore Industries, a force in American craft and textiles that was originally backed by Edith Vanderbilt. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 11-acre property is now home to Grovewood Gallery, working artist studios, the Biltmore Industries Homespun Museum, and the Estes-Winn Antique Car Museum.
PLEASE NOTE: Our two museums are closed from January - March. Admission and parking are free.
