The Manager on shift today was exceptionally rude. I returned a *defective* compression pressure gauge set in new condition after its improperly cut threads would not seat onto a cylinder spark plug well. The Manager mocked me when I politely rebutted that although there is a restocking fee, this fee would not hold against my alternative method of recuperation: a charge dispute due to misrepresentation of the product’s functionality. An undelivered product is grounds for dispute in which a cardholder will win. The attitude when asking why the junk fee should apply was not necessary.Enjoy dealing with the dispute paper work, costing your company a card network dispute fee, losing the dispute and potentially being reprimanded from the unacceptable behavior at 2PM on 2/8/2024. The cashier was friendly and professional, not attempting to be argumentative or childish, so a bonus star for this location retaining someone to clean up the shift manager’s act.

Not the best tools, not the worst tools. There are some great tools and then there are the ones that break right away. If I know I need a quality tool this is not the place I think of or go to. The one thing that is consistent is that all HF stores... if you don't know something is discounted/on sale, they aren't going to tell you. It's always best to know before you go. It may be an internal policy to not tell customers about discounts. I bought three things that were on sale, employee said nothing. I mentioned they were on sale in flyer and it appeared they were annoyed to have to apply the discount after the fact.BTW- the front door being so close to a very busy and high speed road is very dangerous for people walking from the parking lot to the front door. Cars come off the road very fast in to the parking lot.

I was there on 11/28/23. There was a line at check out, as we were all waiting a customer started preaching about God and freedom. He was being extremely loud and disrespectful, the staff handled it with professionalism and grace. It's a shame grown adults act like children in public but the team at harbor freight handled it with ease. On top of that i had just come from home depot and the level of customer service I received here blew them away. Great store and a great team!

Love this store and the people that work there. The store is always well organized and clean. Not many places are doing that nowadays. The tools are what I need doing my things around the house. Check 'em out!

If you live tools like me it's great. Some may be cheap and not the best but they can be good for back ups or modifiable tools or ones you can beat on with out worrying about scratching or something. Plus they warranty there stuff extremely well. Any issue with it they swap out for new. They also have higher end tools to compete with the tool trucks like icon brand. So it hits everyone's wants and budgets.

Every time I step into Harbor Freight, my wallet mysteriously opens itself—it must be the tool fairy at work! The store boasts jaw-dropping deals and a selection so vast, I've found tools I didn't even know I needed (but obviously did). Conveniently located, it's a wonderland for tool aficionados; just be warned, it's easy to get lost in the endless aisles of unique finds!

Good selection of tools at reasonable prices, recently moved about a quarter mile east to a new building, very nice. Not happy about everything being packaged in bullet proof plastic, there has to be a better way. I like the store, but because of this packaging issue, I don't use the store as much as I could.

I had an absolute blast during my first visit to this place. Although it's smaller than Lowe's and Home Depot, they still have a great selection of goods. I was lucky enough to find the item I needed on sale, which made me very happy, so I ended up buying a lot. The cashier was incredibly kind and helpful, making the whole experience even better.

This place has no management and there customer service is the worst. You call and then double check online for an item and when you get there they don’t even look for your item but tell you to drive 60 miles to another store . They should just close the doors. If I ran my business like this I would be out of business. It is tan by a bunch of kids that just really don’t care!!!

I WAS LOOKING FOR A TRUCK BED EXTENDER THAT THEIR WEBSITE SAID THEY HAD. WASN'T ON THE FLOOR. SO ASKED AN ASSOCIATE AND THEY QUICKLY GOT IT FROM THE BACK.JUST WISH THERE WAS A STORE IN N. ASHEVILLE OF WEAVERVILLE AS THIS ONE IS OVER 40 MINS. AWAY FROM ME.
