“Found this floor screen treasure at Sunnyside Trading Co., and shipped it down to our home in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Used two doors to frame out the doorway between kitchen and butler pantry. Everyone was so helpful and I Sunnyside will be my new go-to for that must have special piece. Bonus is that I have two more to use in our office.”

“Don't miss this special little place! Their name says it all...a nonprofit shop that features handmade products made from various villages in multiple countries. Quality and reasonably priced with much attention to detail. It's worth stopping in to browse even if you aren't in the buying mood. Great spot to find a unique gift for someone. Really appreciate that each item has a tag that shares details about the "making" of product. Fun, inviting staff. While they do carry products for children, it might be a bit challenging to shop with children due to the size of shop and various displays. I love that our purchases contribute to making a positive impact and serve as a reminder of a fun day in Ashville.”

There's a fun vibe, with beautiful pottery, glass, jewelry, clothing, homewares and baby things made by artists, many of them local. Perfect place to find something for that hard-to-buy-for person. “Working with Charlton was a key element to the success of our "to the studs" renovation. Charlton is an excellent listener and was able to incorporate our ideas into his finished design work while at the same time, he guided us through decisions in areas that seemed murky to us. As the house was uninhabitable for nearly a year, we moved out of state for the interim. Charlton served as our point man on the job. Initially that can be a bit unsettling but early on we realized we were extremely well represented and that he was looking out for our best interests the entire time.”

“My wife and I bought our small cottage home in 2018 and waited 5 long years before we were done raising kids to finally move in and make it our own. The only problem we had was furnishing and decorating a whole house for the first time in our lives. I can tell you we are not interior decorators. Our previous furniture had been chosen for durability and teenage boy proofing, so we were not prepared for the overwhelming choices and lack of direction we would encounter. Until we found Chris and his support staff at Dwellings. Chris' kind, quiet demeanor and expert guidance was just what we needed. The showroom is beautiful and gave us so many ideas. The quality of the furniture was just what we were looking for, furniture that would last for years to come. Chris took time to help us chose color combinations and fabrics for our living room suit and when we changed our minds on the rug color we had chosen, he did everything in his power to make the exchange happen smoothly and painlessly. We can't speak highly enough about our experience at Dwellings. Each time we ventured out to buy additional furnishings, we always ended up coming back to Dwellings. The quality of the furniture is top notch and very competitively priced. We highly recommend Dwellings not only for their quality, but for their expertise, patience, and kindness.”
