It appears that Home Depot delivery contractors can't get their act together! My wife ordered a Husky Tool Cabinet for my birthday only to have Non-Stop Delivery Company to "lose" it after receiving it at their facility in Blountville TN. (Employee must had REALLY liked it and took it home.. It has never been found since!!).. So she ordered a second one, received confirmation of delivery date, etc., now May 29, Southern Freight doesn't want to deliver it because they can't get their tractor trailer into the subdivision!.. Why sell a product, customer pays for shipping, only to have a delivery service asking the customer to meet them somewhere convenient ???

I purchased a GE range from this store the sensi technology plates in the center of the burner elements got discoloration from heat I called GE they said "That's a shame" offered to replace the parts but since I've had it less then one month I saw no point because they would only discolor again very poor design went in to they store management refused to even come and talk to me about it was told by store associate it's too bad but I was free to pursue anything I wanted with GE I've been a customer of Home Depot for many years have never been treated like that before I guess it's time to switch to another box store where they might actually care about there customers satisfaction! Don't buy appliances here they don't stand behind their products.

We were in process of buying a new refrigerator and having it delivered, but then they mentioned the contractors they have will not drive on gravel, our driveway is rock so they said they would deliver it to the street and we would have to get it to the House

I've been to this Home Depot a lot!!! Pretty much on a daily basis but I had to write this review for Roy in lumber! He was of so much help today even though he was extremely busy he stopped to help me find some primed 1X4X8 trim boards. I would like to say thank you to him for being kind & helping me today!!

If you are thinking about ordering an appliance from the Asheville Home Depot, spare yourself frustration, days lost at work, and hundreds of dollars in unnecessary contractor visits due to the complete ineptitude and terrible service of their delivery company, R&D. I can't say enough good things about customer service at Home Depot. They are so knowledgeable, helpful, and go over and beyond to help you do a project right, save time, and so on. Lowes is closer to me, but anytime I have something more complex, I always make the trip to Home Depot because​ I know they will have what I need and they will help me get it done! They are just so so much better than Lowes it's not even funny. Yes, I agree, there are still a few glitches with their online ordering system. I knew this going into it from past remodeling projects, so this time, I just made sure to follow through with their customer service to help things happen on time. For example, I ordered flooring, and they said it would take between 10-14 days. At 10 days, I checked in to see if it was on schedule. Whoops​, there was a glitch, but they caught it in time and my floors will still arrive within their original forecast. Plus, if you have questions, THEY CALL YOU BACK which is what I would obviously expect, but it rarely happens. So when it does, I really want to applaud Home Depot for making my home improvement process a little more wonderful.

I shop in this store almost daily and nobody ever helps load heavy items into carts. Yesterday my wife threw her back out because not a single person would help load cabinets. What's absolutely shameful is that several male employees walked straight by us without ever saying a word or offering to help. This store needs to seriously work on their customer service before more people get hurt.

Never ever order anything online from Home Depot! Never delivered as promised today....got email confirmation on 4/2 when paid in full for delivery today on 4/6....no one called and spent 6 plus hours in store and on phone and no one can help or explain even tho we have everything printed....

As far as big box hardware stores go, I'd say this is one of the better ones. In general a lot of them tend to leave you on your own and nobody really knows where anything is. I've had a better experience with this in Home Depot's as opposed to the blue place. The staff is here is friendly, and the customer service desk is actually knowledgeable with the product on the floor. Good Hardware selection. I'd say my only negative is that it seems to be set out quite differently than any other that I've been to before. I'm familiar with it now so I pretty much know where things are but I have to somewhat recalibrate every time I first walk in.

I was happy to see that good customer service is still alive and well. I was approached by several employees asking if they could help me. I used to work at Home Depot and it has a special place in my heart. I'm glad that it still is about the customers and not just business. Thanks y'all.
