This is my favorite nursery! Their selection is great- AND the people are even better. I was there on Saturday to select some apple trees. I had some questions and I got answers! As it was raining, I think the place was slow. Two people helped me make an informed decision. I got a gorgeous apple tree that was taller than 6 feet for $49 and some small blueberry bushes. This is the only nursery I need.

I love to go to this place. I live in Asheville and visit as often as I can. The people there are helpful and the atmosphere is wonderful.. My daughter and granddaughters, and I come here and to the farmers market just to walk around and buy different garden ornaments as well as plants. A nice few hours.

Mediocre inventory and outstandingly high prices. They get these prices because they can. Welcome to Asheville.

While on a weekend get away we happened upon this Gem . It's a fabulous place even if your not a plant person. I quickly became intrigued by the various beautiful plants .. I may just become a plant lover from this visit here..

Poor customer service, condescension, and misleading signage prevail here. I wanted to buy some mountain pride variety tomatoes. I pulled some tomatoes from the flat directly below the sign for mountain pride (as seen in the picture), but saw these were staked as mountain merit. I then asked an employee if these were the same or a totally different variety. They avoided the question and I had to ask 3 more times before I finally got a straight answer of "no". Their behavior was bizarre, you would've thought I was asking for top secret information. I then ask them if they have any mountain pride tomatoes in stock and they reply very rudely with "no, are you going to buy these tomatoes or not?". When there's as much competition in the area as there is I'm not sure why customers would be treated like this, so congratulations, you've lost a customer today and I'll be discouraging others from doing business here.

Great place to find plants of all kinds. A little pricey on there, not so plants stuff. They also have ponds and fish stuff. Take the kids out back to the Rock area and show them the large koies in the large pond. Great knowledgeable workers and cashiers.

Pros: Easy to access, indoor, and outdoor plants that the average or beginner enthusiasts may not have seen at a box store. Lots of knowledgeable staff.Cons: The prices are slightly steep, but you get thst at a place where asking for help is easy, and the staff can take the time to educate you on what you are getting. I went on a Friday, ai am assuming they stay busy and it is difficult to get into on a Saturday.

Happy with a Red Bud, clover seed, annuals and some specimen plants bought here. Good quality and selection. Fair prices.

Go here often. Have many plants in my yard. Not all have faired well though planted by landscapers. I blame that on my location more than their stock.

I adore this nursery! Super accessible, mostly wheelchair friendly, staff is crazy nice and helpful and the plants are healthy and well priced! I love perusing this nursery when I’m in town!

The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. The products they carry are very high quality, from plants and soil, to tools and gloves. They have everything we need to serve ourselves as well as our clients' gardening needs and are willing to answer questions and provide any assistance needed.I can't recommend Jesse Israel and Sons highly enough. They're definitely the best garden center in the region, and we've tried them all.
