I have no choice to shop here, but the associates drive me crazy! It is extremely rare that I find a nice, helpful, friendly associate. Then today, as I’m walking to the cutting table with my fabric selections at 5:40 (closing time per google is 6:00), I am greeted with by an associate who stops me and says “Ma’am, the cutting table is closed”. So a wasted trip!. Asheville really needs another fabric store!

There's ten people in line to checkout and they have one person at the register. There are multiple other employees around the store.

Busy, busy store with a short staff to assist customers. Waited patiently in line to get checked out and had an issue with a promotional message that Joann left on my phone. They offered $5 and a Free Gift of wrapping paper when I picked up my online order. Turns out the corporate headquarters had rescinded the offer but continued to send out the promotion. Not a good way to experience my first visit to their store.

Donna at the fabric counter cut my one yard of fabric very jagged, when I brought it up to the cashier to see if I could get a re-cut she told me sarcastically “why don’t you come get a job here” I cried in the car from the stress - bad experience but I’m not mad at Donna it’s ok to make mistakes and she wasn’t mean

Went to look for help for the single cashier who had at least 25 people in line. The manager said “it’s just the two of us today so unless you want to get back here (pointed behind counter) and do pay role for $8.88 an hour on a Sunday then today we're learning patience"She continued to wall through the store repeating "patience".I only heard the pay slightly so Im unsure if its that exact amount.I had already been in line 20 mins with another 15 mins after that. i had patience. What I also had was concern for the single cashier who was alone with no end in sight. The manager could've very easily apologized and thanked me for my patience and said it's just the two of them today but instead she chose to take an attitude with me because she was having a frustrating busy day. That is unacceptable when you work in Customer Service.

Hours for this store are incorrect show up to store and posted hours say 7:00pm not 9pm. I think for a large company like Joan’s they would be on top of this

Mary and Cindy were so helpful! They were so nice to me and my grandma. We are making a quilt together and Cindy gave us some helpful tips and reccomended certain things for us. Cindy even told me that there were sale coupons online, and she helped me with that. I saved $114 yesterday at JoAnn!! Highly recommend!!
