I have been with this insurance group since I have my learner's permit it was great until this year of 2022 one of my favorite reps left this company and ever since then it has went down hill. And now I'm having to pay $100 for their mess ups that they won't own up to their faults. They still had two vehicles that had sold months and months prior and they never added a vehicle I had told them to add and they never changed my address so therefore when I didn't get the mail my insurance had labs and I received stuff from the state saying my insurance is left and I owe them money now thanks a lot Madison's insurance group for not helping me. If you are tempted to try this company please turn around they will not do their job and you will have to pay for that and they will not help you. And honestly if there is a way to give them a zero Stars I would

Seething with incompetence. Last November or so, I forgot to renew my Motorcycle Insurance. A few days later, I realized I had not renewed and promptly renewed for the year. Fast forward to several weeks ago. I received a letter from the NC DMV saying they had no record of liability insurance and that I needed to send a form. I called this agency and was told by a lady that she would handle it. Fast forward to today when I received another letter from the state saying my plates were revoked and I needed to provide that form and pay a civil penalty. My issue is that I called the agency for help and was told by the lady on the phone that there was nothing she could do because she had already faxed it. I asked her what I was supposed to do and she told me to call the DMV. Call them with what? I had no way of verifying anything. We went back and forth with me trying to point out the lack of logic to her answer.... If you ever need help, you'll regret using this agency. I am transferring my policy ASAP.

I paid my insurance policy early but the agency did not deposit my check, I received a cancellation notice so I called Carolina Farmer and paid with my credit card. The agency called me and told me that they had found my check and would just mail it back to me but they deposited the check instead. When I called to get an update I was told that they had written a check and mailed it to me. I am still waiting on the check. Karen who works in the office had to be the most incompetent person in this industry. I had similar problems last year. I had also sent a couple of emails asking for a call from the Owner but no response. If you are looking for insurance coverage I would suggest that you look elsewhere.

I usually don't write reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I am going to write one. I needed to change my insurance from a rental policy to a home policy. Called and left messages with an employee three times, talked with Lee once. Stopped in and talked with someone once in person. This makes FIVE attempts and no one ever returned my calls over a few months. Meanwhile, I am likely not insured. I finally called the 800 number for the rental insurance company, and they suggested going with another company! So I did. Ridiculous, unbelievable, disrespectful service.

Lee who is part time is amazing, well educated and experienced goes well above and beyond. I would suggest if going here ask for him.Other wise the office is small there was only person there and she was very judgmental and jumped to conclusions very fast. While she was knowledgeable, this was off putting and I would not recommend her as the first option.Brokers often don’t get their credit but Lee deserves every bit and is simply amazing. Very few people in the insurance industry will take the type of time, dedication, and detail he did.Disclaimer: I had never met him before and actually called to cancel going through them but after working with him see how valuable it is to have a broker.

I tried to get business insurance from this company. They never called back when they said they would and everytime I called I received the run around. Always leaving me with a promise with absolutely no follow through. My initial contact was 4 months ago. A huge waste of my valuable time.

Incredibly incompetent. Be prepared to call over and over just to keep being insured. There are a ton of insurance agents in Asheville, just pick a different one.
