The "provider" doesn't know how to perform a physical. How long do these people go to school for to not be able to perform the literal basics of medicine. Not to mention the hour wait time as the first appointment we made just to be turned away. Then a 20 minute wait the 2nd day with no one else here. Also, there is no such thing as walking in. You have to have an appontment

went to this minute clinic yesterday, got prescribed some antibiotics that i had an abnormal reaction to (but not bad enough to go to the ER) and could never get ahold of the pharmacist or nurse (who was already rude to begin with yesterday) there afterwards. spent 30 mins on hold, transferred to this person and the next countless times then hung up on.

I’m not one to write reviews… especially bad ones, but I just left the minute clinic where I needed a TB screening and a Physical for my job. The Healthcare Provider on duty didn’t even read the form I brought in for the TB screening. I had to “screen” myself and she reluctantly signed her name on it after me stating that was the entire purpose of my visit…. I needed the screening completed for my job… a test is only administered if I had symptoms and she would have known that if she would have taken time to read the form she signed. She said there was no time for a physical and a TB test in a short time slot…. So I asked if there was time to complete the physical since it had only taken a 2 minutes or less to argue and get her to understand how a TB screening worked, I had preformed the screening myself after all and her only part was in signing the form. She still insisted there wasn’t enough time. So I got up and left, she didn’t charge me for the signature and she didn’t even sign me in for an appointment… but there wasn’t enough time for a simple physical questionnaire?

Save your money and go to a Urgent Care Clinic instead. The Doctors don’t know what they are doing. Had chest cold and basically told me to get over it.

Most of my experiences here are good. However, when I have a scheduled appointment and someone jumps into one of the offices telling the provider they are next and in a hurry and allowed to just step in, it kinda rubs me the wrong way, especially when I'm still here 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment and still waiting for a flu shot

Useless and rude. I work in Healthcare and I would never make my patient feel the way I was made to feel today. If you're looking for real answers and help, look elsewhere.

The nurse practitioner I think her name wasTeresa and a nurse Pam were very helpful for me to get my Covid vaccine quickly. Pam was kind and gentle and gave me a quick shot. And the nurse practitioner did a quick review of my history. From the quick check in at the kiosk to check out I was very satisfied

Look out Theranos! CVS has their own scam! I don’t even understand what this was. I came to get a quick Covid test, but it took over 45 minutes and they ended up throwing my results. Everyone was incompetent. They had no idea what was going on. They were bumbling around and ended up having to create an entirely new chart for me, even though I’m a regular patient. It took forever for them finally administer the Covid test. When I thought I could leave (30 minutes later), they said I needed to see someone else. I said I needed to go because I needed to go pick my daughter. After I left, they threw my test results out, even though the test was in process. This place is worse is a bigger scam than Theranos. I’m sure they are just acting liken they do Covid tests, so they can bill you. I would stay far away.

Bad experience, avoid if possible. Visiting town for a vacation and my son developed pink eye. After waiting 45 minutes with no one else around, we were finally seen. The Trainee NP who saw him had zero experience with kids and had to be walked through the exam process step by step by her trainer, exhibiting an amazing ineptitude the whole time. Like she’d never even watched a medical drama on TV. Then, after a 30 minute exam to successfully diagnose bilateral pinkeye (like any person who has tangentially been involved with children can do in about four seconds), all parties rejoiced. Then, the kicker, they messed up the prescription and never actually placed it, which is weird, because the pharmacy is 15 feet away in the same building. We’ll see what the bill is, but I expect a 6 figure invoice containing charges for open heart surgery and a leg amputation. Avoid if you are able and have any other options or self respect.

Waited over an hour with an appointment, waste of time.

I am very afraid of needles. The head clinician, Brad Stansberry gave me the quickest shot of my life. He was very accommodating of my phobia, and made it as comfortable and quick as possible. I appreciate that.

I have had two excellent experiences at the River Ridge CVS Minute Clinic in Asheville, NC. Because of some really bad situations where I almost died as a kid, I am pretty phobic of doctors in general. Both times the Physicians Assistants at Minute Clinic were very understanding and caring--I actually felt at ease--and they were professional and they diagnosed me accurately. The first time I had bronchitis that was going into pneumonia. I was prescribed a Zpack round of antibiotics and an inhaler, and the PA wrote me a note to stay out of work. The second time I had a very bad case of dizziness. Rather than spending a fortune at the Emergency Room, I made an appointment with the Minute Clinic online on a Sunday morning last January. I had to be there in 15 mins, and was seen in less than 5 minutes of my arrival. Turns out, my dizziness was from water in my inner ear. I was prescribed over the counter drugs to dry this up. I had never had either of these illnesses before, and the PAs accurately diagnosed me, and with what they prescribed I quickly healed. Also, the Minute Clinic accepted my Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance, and all I had to pay was the deductible, which for me was $20, and of course the over the counter drugs on the second visit.

Quick efficient and friendly! I love their staff. Checked in online and made my visit faster. Also wish more people would appreciate our health care professionals who do so much to provide us with proper care. The pharmacy also found me a coupon because I had no insurance. Would visit this clinic again any time.
