Featuring clinic rooms and a wonderfully appointed practice hall which is ideal for yoga and associated arts, the ambience is ideal transmission teachers and aspiring students alike.

More than learning TCM, Saraswati also teaches your inner spirit, helping you also developing you as a human being and as a therapist. Very inspirational. I feel lucky to being able to attend her lessons.

The name says it all- Nourishing Life. From the moment I met with Saraswati, I felt nourished, supported, and understood. She is 100% engaged in the healing process, sharing her thoughts about what is happening on a physical, emotional, metaphysical level. I really appreciate the comprehensiveness and thoroughness of her approach, and I trust and value her assessments. I have found my acupuncturist in Asheville! Thank you!

The yoga classes are not crowded which I love because the teachers can actually make adjustments and make sure I'm doing things safely. Would definitely recommend!

From the first day that I walked into Nourishing Life I have felt so supported by the staff and by Dr Saraswati Markus. Every time I have an appointment I feel that I am doing something healing and so very good for myself. The physical healing has been profound. I also enjoy being involved in the workshops and the community that they create. I feel blessed to have Nourishing Life and every one involved in my life.

I haven't felt the need to go anywhere else since my first experience at Nourishing Life. The aesthetics of the space were immediately nourishing and inspiring, and the community who cares for the space and you is a group of knowledgeable, supportive and inspiring individuals. I have felt uplifted in my emotional well-being and physical stamina since beginning a semi-regular yoga practice. I feel grounded and able to take a joyful, full breath every time I leave practice there. The investment in a 12-session pass was affordable and well-worth it.
