The highlight is the croissant, they are wonderful and reminiscent of the French. This unit has a parking lot just around the corner before you arrive, a welcoming atmosphere and all fresh savory/sweet items. unmissable stop!

Such a fun bakery! Amazing espresso, and their gluten free tea cakes (financiers, I think) were the best gluten free pastries I've ever had at a

Truly heavenly. Every coffee and treat I’ve ever had from here have exceeded my expectations. I’ve been going to Owl Bakery for several years and they have the most amazing selection.Parking: There is street parking. Get there early if it’s a weekend or holiday.

Food is AMAZING! I am picky about bakeries and this one is hands down the best in Asheville! Fresh food & get a loaf of bread on your way out! They will even slice it for you!

Amazing bakery. Got the cream cheese maple apple danish and it was one of the best pastries I've ever enjoyed. Good espresso and the tip was included so that was nice to see they take care of their people. Comfy seating and street parking was easy to find right outside. Could not take a picture before most of the goods were enjoyed so I apologize, but that should be a testament to how great it was. Got two pastries and only meant to eat one and save another for later and ended up smacking both in a matter of ten minutes.

A cozy cafe with some unique pastries and coffee/tea based drinks. Great place for a quick breakfast at an independent place!

What a gem nestled in west Asheville! Found the OWL bakery early one morning and the pastries were unique and delicious! Left w two boxes of fresh baked goodies for a local fire department.

I arrived with a small group and each ordered different things. None of it was as good as the hype. The "signature" orange honey cappuccino was intensely bitter and not made better by the addition of sugar. The palmiers were over baked and burned on the bottom, leading to a tooth-shatteringly difficult to eat pastry; the correct texture of a palmier is light, flaky and delicate. These were the opposite of that. We did order a few baguettes to bring home, and they were excellent. The cheese danish was good and baked correctly, unlike the palmiers, but not spectacular. The staff seemed rushed but gracious. The prices here are exorbitant, like most "artisanal" Asheville shops that think too much of themselves. Most pastries are in the $5 to $5.50 range and they are quite small. A very diminutive cappuccino is $5.50. In total, our small order cost nearly $50 and we got almost nothing in return, leaving just as hungry as we arrived. We won't be coming back unless it's for the bread.

A quick visit one morning on way out of town. Almost decided to stay. Delicious coffee, great pastries, friendly staff and all in a terrific setting.

Overpriced. Employees not welcoming. Poor customer service. High prices expect more from employees to be more accommodating to the customer. Example bought 2 pastries then asked could I get the box special employee refused. Ambiance unremarkable.

The best bakery in the country. Their pastries and bread rival anything I tasted during my year living in France. They use fresh local seasonal ingredients and have an adorable courtyard.

Pastries are fine, coffee is mediocre, and recent front of house staff are consistently dismissive and rude. There are other bakeries in town with better prices, better hours, and friendlier staff. Venture to those.

Charming bakery with delicious bread baked well and served not only here but in other quality establishments in the area, like High Five Coffee. The space is beautiful, but hospitality can be iffy. We love to grab a cup of their batch brew, (roasted by Methodical) and a loaf to take back to our Airbnb to snack on during our stays in Asheville. The raisin flax loaf is especially yummy.
