Even though I live closer to the Weaverville location I drive to here because they do the best job. Better than any closer place. They don't underbake like Pizza Hut or mess everything up like Little Ceasar's (Weaverville location). They follow instructions if you say light cheese unlike the Weaverville PJ's. If I'm cheating on my diet, it's not worth it if the food is messed up and they don't mess it up.

I did a online take out order for one of their medium special pizzas. Pizza was done quickly, was hot and tasted good. No complaints.

Placed an order for a pizza. It never came. Called the shop and it went straight to voice mail. Card was charged and order was registered as placed so we had to call customer service and file a report for a refund on a service that was paid for and never received.

Consistent. A relief to have decent prices for good pizza. Also, nostalgic of my childhood. I still love a lot of local pizza, but it's tough to always afford it. Also, the staff here is nice. Once I had the wrong pizza in the box and they fixed it fast. They seemed genuinely concerned, but I assured them I could wait and at least they checked it with me there so we could catch it.

They say a picture says a thousand words.This one says it all.If you don't care about making quality pizzas, then go find something else to do.The garbage collectors are hiring.

Regular papa johns as expected. Nothing bad and actually quick service. The cashiers are friendly. We've usually done pick up here and have had no issues at all.

Their website is up to date (Opened according to their website posted schedule). We got into Asheville late on a Thursday night & scrambled to look for a descent opened restaurant, None were opened. But papa John’s on Merrimon came to the rescue & they delivered to our hotel on Tunnel Rd (4.8 miles). The person who took our order on 9/15/2022 @10:36 pm was so patient & helpful especially I did not have a menu accessible. We were told delivery would be 45 - 55 mins, but the pizza was delivered in 37 mins, the pizza toppings were so fresh, the crust was perfect & it was the best papa John pizza, not because we were hungry, but we’ve ordered from other papa John’s, & this one “is” by far the best! Thank you guys for accommodating us & going above & beyond. We greatly appreciate your service. You rock!I would like to add to all those reading this; when calling Papa John’s select 5 @ the prompt, this will get you to the local establishment. Otherwise you will get a call center who is not even in the country (USofA), & don’t bother with the app. If you reach the call center or use the app; “PLEASE” don’t bark at the local establishment for the error…. because the local guys are not the root cause of the problem.

Wouldn't even give them a full star but it won't let me give them less. They don't serve truck drivers unless you can walk in the store.
